Wow this Staples 15 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is a monster. This is a heavy duty shredder. It has a huge slide out bin that makes emptying a breeze. It's a lemon
This shredder does not work. It will shred one paper and stop while shredding. It takes several minutes to shred one paper.

Perfect home shredder
This shredder replaced the 15-sheet shredder that I had for over 30 years. This new machine is much quieter, has a smaller profile, and shreds quickly and more neatly. I highly recommend this item. The staples staff also assisted with getting my old bulky machine into the store to be recycled. Great service!

Disappointing
Supposed to shred 15 pages but have to spoon feed it - only 2-4 pages have easy pick-up. Won’t even take 1 as it needs to go in straight.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $
Bought this shredder yesterday and it overheated the first time I used it. Let it cool down, unplugged overnight and tried again next morning…I put 4 sheets of paper in at once and it stopped working and flashed the red light as it was overheated. Taking it back today!! Waste of time and money!!!

not sure I like this yet
The shredder is too small, what I don't like is that it has to stay closed when not in use as the blue light is too bright. I don't like that the blades start as soon as you actually slide the top open, so I've taped that up.

Have to lift the top to empty the can, no pull out drawer. Paper you enter from the top crumbles no matter how you put them, even 1 sheet. It seems like the opening for the paper is smaller than 8.5 inches.
