Wow this Staples 15 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is a monster. This is a heavy duty shredder. It has a huge slide out bin that makes emptying a breeze. No need to lift off the heavy top, just slide out the front and dump. There is a slide top to close when not in use to keep it from collecting dust or having unwanted items fall in. Terrible
We opened up the box, put it together according to the instructions, put in 3 sheets of paper and it overheated. It never started up again. After an hour, we packed it up and took it back to the store the next day. This was extremely disappointing and a waste of time.

The printer box says this shredder is for medium use and can shred 15 sheets at a time. I don't think it can handle more than a few sheets at most. This probably wasn't the best choice for us.

Lots of noise
I would rather listen to my mother in law than listen to the noise this machine makes. It jams easily and is a mess to fix when it does jam. I would suggest other name brand units. Probably a little more expensive but worth it.

Easy!
If my 90 year old can handle it, I know it's easy to use! Wheels are great, too, for moving it around the house. It's pretty quiet, also. A nice, modern replacement.

Inexpensive shredder that works
We replaced a Staples professional series 10 yo machine that was tired. I would have preferred to find another machine in the professional series but it is no longer available.
The repacement works OK but is sig. louder than the previous one. In addition the shredded material is less granular than before (larger pieces).
Time will tell how long it will last.

Staples Paper Shredder
We have had this shredder a couple of weeks. The shredder has worked perfectly with no problems. Love that it has rolling wheels and can be rolled from under the desk when needed and then rolled out of site. Also like that it has a slide lid that shuts off the motor when not in use.
