Shredder Review
First day it already quit working. It will run when turned on, but half way through the first page the red temperature light comes on and shuts it down.

Overheats and won't work after literally 1 page
I tried putting 6 pieces of paper straight through (they didn't bunch up or anything like that). The machine couldn't handle it and overheated. Then, I tried unplugging and plugging it back in and it couldn't even handle one page at a time without overheating. This is a serious disappointment!

Works Great & Very Quiet
This is working great so far. It is much quieter than my previous one. My only thing to say is that it is a little bit slower than other micro cuts that I've used but not that big of a deal.

I expected this to be noisy but compared to my previous one it’s quiet and frankly a welcome change. I haven’t had it long enough to say anything else. It is so much easier to empty i know i will like that. I also like the safety feature so toddlers won’t open it or put their fingers in it.

Great shredder
My old shredder broke I needed one soon. I checked with Staples and found this shredder at a reasonable price. I shreds great into micro pieces. The part I like best is that it is not as noisey as my old shredder. It is a bit heavy but the casters makes moving somewhat easier.

Micro-cut shredder
Staples shredder is easy to setup & run. The shredding is slower than I’m used to but that would be caused by the micro-cut. Machine is very efficient and quiet.

fellow shredder died after 20 years of use
Replaced with staples brand cross cut designed for 12 sheets for $149.00. Slow running with narrow throat making it hard to do a 8 1/2 x 11 paper.

Quiet and efficient

Replacement Shredder - Not too pleased
The unit is a replacement for another Staples shredder I had for five years. I was informed this new unit was comparable to the old one; however I feel it does not measure up.
