Works Really Well
Returned the first shredder because it was unreliable, overheated/shut off and really cheap! Found this one the same day and it was a workhorse! Very pleased with this shredder.

Broken top and overall plastic very flimsy
I would not recommend. Was not well constructed compared to the Fellowes units.

I expected this to be noisy but compared to my previous one it’s quiet and frankly a welcome change. I haven’t had it long enough to say anything else. It is so much easier to empty i know i will like that. I also like the safety feature so toddlers won’t open it or put their fingers in it.

Great shredder
My old shredder broke, I needed one soon. I checked with Staples and found this shredder at a reasonable price. I shreds great, into micro pieces. The part I like best is that it is not as noisey as my old shredder. It is a bit heavy but the casters makes moving somewhat easier.

Micro-cut shredder
Staples shredder is easy to setup & run. The shredding is slower than I’m used to but that would be caused by the micro-cut. Machine is very efficient and quiet.

Quiet and efficient

The unit is a replacement for another Staples shredder I had for five years. I was informed this new unit was comparable to the old one; however, I feel it does not measure up. The shredder works well and is quiet. I effortlessly shredded credit cards, CDs and documents. I do wish however, that the opening to insert the paper was slightly longer and a bit wider.
