Piece of Art
It's a great piece of lego, beautiful. The build was fun and relaxing. In my opinion it is worth the money.

1 of my pieces was machined improperly
I would absolutely love to give this product a 5 star in every category, however, one of my pieces from the set was machined as male on the side that it should have been female. This wouldn't have been a big deal if I had been able to continue the build, but this one mishap prevented me from building passed stage 1 out of 6 stages. I hope I can get a replacement set sen...

Very Zen!
Makes a lovely display piece, though the building process can be a little repetitive at times, plus you can change the leaves from green to pink and white as and whether you like!

Bonsai tree disappointment
So disappointed in this product. Not worth the money and a huge waste of time. My son and I love putting Lego sets together and this one is so poorly thought out that after numerous attempts of trying to put it together just to have it completely fall apart over and over again, we finally threw it away. Difficult to Read Instructions
I have built Legos for over 50 years. I have encouraged my children to build for over 20 years.
The images for the brown on brown build were blurry and nearly indiscernable, requiring powers of deduction for most of the trunk build. Instructions for #70 of the green bonsai, to attach the leaves and green flowers was, "and a miracle occurs." No Instruction just another l...

Horrible instructions
Overall, an amazing set! Beautiful on display not to mention pink frogs! I do have one big problem though, the instructions are really difficult to understand all the dark brown pieces make it really hard to see where things go in some steps, also step 70 when you’re building the green foliage for the tree is really convoluted, it would’ve been easier if they made it so...

Great Set
An overall amazing set, I love the customization that offers. My only bit of criticism is that it is a little hard to switch the middle leafs.

LEGO Bonsai Tree

Better than pick-a-brick Parts Supply
I bought this set for the TREE to upgrade the *pitiful tree on top the new Shire hillside. *should NOT have had to, BTW. This set was on sale at a box store, improving the value I'll admit. BUT LOOK AT ALL THE EXTRA PARTS ♥ Brown! 200 1x1 tiles - not getting dumped like dirt but carefully placed in the future I'm sure :) AND I ♥ frogs - offsetting a 1 star review I hope...

Looks great on any shelf
Not the most exciting build with lots of fiddly leaves and branches. Also a lot of the pieces are just scattered loose in the base.
But it really does look good on the shelf in any room. Bought more as a decoration than a fun build. Assumed I would keep it green but looks great in both colours so will change. Just difficult to know where to store the other set of branc...

Disappointed
Firstly, the instructions of this product are extremely hard to follow with very little guidance on where to place following bricks. While a lovely idea for a Lego piece, it keeps breaking and falling apart.

An interesting build
It was an easy build. The instructions were clear and concise if not a bit repetitive. It is great to have the interchangeable buds depending on preference. The loose pieces to mimic the soil can be easily lost.

Least favorite build
I bought this product back in November and since then its broken has broke nat least 4 times just sitting in one spot and I haven’t rebuilt it since. The top is too heavy for the base and its constantly making it break in half.

Love this set
I’m a bonsai admirer. I bought this set because I live in an area with a lot of Cherry Blossom trees and wanted to simulate that inside. This piece is very delicate, and, like other plants doesn’t like to be moved a lot. I have purchased another set for a friend.

You're barking up the right tree
WOW! Great build, take your time, make some tea, listen to something relaxing while you click. From the first brick to the last - this set looks great on display. No stickers! A great set for beginner bulders, creative florists, and those who might enjoy a little zen-like relaxation.

Too simple
This is the first set I’ve ever bought for myself so pretty much beginner level, only having done little bits here and there with the kids. Firstly very disappointed that a quarter of the brick count is simply small pieces that you pour into the plant pot. Absolutely no skill required so it only took me about 2 hours which for a beginner is no time at all. Someone more ...

Not worth money value
Stated to be a 800 piece set, but 200 pieces are thrown into the middles as “rocks” should not be $50 for the amount of pieces.

Loved IT!
This was honestly the first lego build in my entire 44 years of life on this planet and in this particular dimension. And, i loved every second of it. Being color blind it was hard to tell some of the browns and reds apart, but that is not a LEGO issue, that is a me issue. I had a lot of fun doing this. Lovely appearance but....
Over the last few months i've built up a collection of the botanicals, I've enjoyed building and love the colours. I chose to build the bonsai in pink (splash of colour) initially and it took me about 2 hrs.
