Over hated but actually a great value
Many Lego fans will go leave bad reviews just because the set cost $700 and only contains around 2800 pieces but I think they are all wrong. The set is great a value in my opinion. The set is huge compared to most Lego technic sets and contains lots of motors and other huge pieces. I have always believed that price per piece doesn’t always matter and this is a key examp...

It looks great, but...
.. it does not look like the original Liebherr at all.
.. it it way too expensive.
I got this gifted and would never spend so much money on only 2.5k pieces. I feel guilty that my friend spend this much money.
Inflation and all, this is waaaay over the top.

amazing set!!
this is a truly amazing set, even though im a fairly experienced builder I did find it challenging at times,and I had to do a couple of part re-builds, I would say if your thinking of purchasing this set , make sure you have enough room to build, display and play,this is a huge set, I really enjoyed the process especially when connected to control+, I would advise only ...

Very disappointing experience
Needed to call Lego twice already for parts missing that takes 3 weeks plus to arive, to then get it all set up and now one of the motors isint connecting to my device correctly. This has been nothing but miserable to build and has definitely taken the fun out of it. The 2 certified lego stores near my house don't stock any spare parts or even stock the motors to buy so...

Average, but easily extensible & thereby excellent
Someone else posted this “Lego and Liebherr should be ashamed”. Yes, I agree, Lego for cutting corners, and Liebherr for letting them get away with it.

Great crane
As great as this crane is the only issue I have is how tall this crane is, the real cranes main boom is a lot taller and could have had 2 more lattice sections added as well as the luffing jib too,

It's a big crane
Even though it's not like the real lr13000, it gives you an amazing build and play experience.
You can lift bags and boxes and move them around like you are building something else, just like a real crane.

An impressive model
I give this model 4/5 stars. It was an exciting build and loads of fun to play with. I deduct a point for lack of fine details. I recall the Cat D11 and the R9800 had nice details such as an engine and ladders. MONSTER CRANE LR13000
First of all, this is a MONSTER. I didn't think it would be this big. Building was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. Customer Service for parts is lacking
I need part 6371192 replaced. I sent in a replacement request which was denied. I’m trying again, but may be denied again. I’m at a standstill–the part is required for functionality, and until I receive some resolution, I have a $700 paperweight. Too long to power up, Rechargeable batteries?
