Adapter does not work with all OLD monitors
I bought a new Asus Computer —Tower only. The PC tower did not have a VGA port, only HDMI port. My old (17 inch, Dell) monitor is about 12 years old and requires a VGA port. It works it's affordable
I have an older monitor with a VGA connection and wanted to use it on a modern laptop as a second screen. The Staples TECH HDMI to VGA Audio/Video Adapter was an inexpensive solution. What more to say? It works and is reasonably priced.

Great quality and easy to set up
The HDMI to VGA worked great. It was very easy to set up. I used to connect my monitor to the HDMI port on my docking station. The size is small and compact and I can easily fit it in my bag to connect to any monitor. The image quality on the monitor was very good. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Great picture
I love the Staples HDMI for my computer. It was easy to set up and use as I followed the directions on what time do. I was able to connect my computer to my phone to download files and watch TV. The picture quality was 1080 setting and showed a bright clear picture as well. I'm glad I was able to to access everything easily with my phone using thos adapter.

Easy Peasy
The HDMI to VGA adapter worked great getting our computer hooked up to an older monitor! Would recommend if you're looking to save some money from having to purchase a new monitor.

Good Cable
This cable worked well. I didn’t use it much as I didn’t need to. But when I tested it out the image was crisp. I sometimes use a TV screen for work to run through slideshows and this allowed me to connect my computer to my TV monitor that is older. I didn’t have any issues with it. It was easy to just plug in and go. It didn’t lag at all.
