A Huge Upgrade from the JBL Clip 3!
I have been waiting for the Clip 5 to be released here in the USA, it’s June 2024, and it’s finally here! does not last 3 hours now
great speaker BUT .. i use this primarily outside attached to my golf bag to listen to tunes while playing .. initially it was good battery lasted whole round 4-5 hours. i always charge it after each round .. but after the 3rd round now it will not last past 2 hours.. it is cold out but i cant see why this is not lasting at least 3 hours in cold weather. Amazing color. Meh battery life.
I absolutely LOVE the color (I got the purple one) but I've been disappointed in the battery life. I use the speaker all day at work, 8-10 hour days, and while it claims 12-15 hours of music playing time, it typically dies before the end of my shift. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker.

Almost perfect

Love my JBL
I got this as a christmas present this year and It was a favorite of mine! I use it all the time for the shower or even just getting ready. I can't wait to use it this summer!

Could use some tone adjustment capability
Connects easily to both my phone (Pixel 8) and my old iPod Touches (3rd and 6th Gens). Sound is excellent. Only wish is that I could change the tone as there is a lot of bass on this unit and it overpowers some songs, so being able to boost the treble or midrange via some fixed selections would be nice. Overall, though, a very good response range for such a small speake...

Great speaker but the charging cable is inadequate
I enjoy using the JBL Clip 5 and it works great. I am giving it a four star rating because it came with a very short usb-a to usb-c charging cable. It would so much better if the cable was usb-c to usb-c.

I like it but..
Compared to my previous clip 3 and clip 4 experience The clip5 is heavier. The sound is nice, maybe better than clip4? But the app was needed to EQ the audio. But the clip5 bsttery life is shorter. The party link mode is cool but I have trouble linking the units(I have 2 clip5) the clip4 was great til i lost it. Clip 3 rip after many years.

Fantastic portable sound.
Great sound for such a compact device. Love the clip... it's on my backpack so I don't forget to bring it on trips.

Love it!
This little speaker has great sound! The bass bumps, the mids & highs are really clear. It's really convenient to use while riding my bike, it clips right onto my pannier and I never have to worry about it falling off.

Great speaker if you are on the go!
It’s a great little speaker with big sound! We actually have 3 in the family! Use them for everything! Great for a golf cart!

Better sound, flawed improvements
Not a bad speaker, definitely an improvement in sound compared to the clip 4.
Has new/updated features like a bigger carabiner, but the quality of the carabiner is worse than the clip 4.
They used a longer thinner piece of rubber that’s really flimsy, mine pretty much already ripped off.
The rubber ridges on the back are an improvement! Wider pieces that sit in a reces...

Everyone in the family needs to have one.
These Clip-5 speakers offer perfect clarity. We listen to story-tapes with some 3.5 headphone hole to Bluetooth converter in the back of an old CD player. My wife has a purple Clip-5 and I have a Halloween one, (Black and Orange). This way we can do our own volume. They charge quickly and play a long time. Simply fantastic
This little speaker is outstanding and most definitely out does the last gen in my experience, sup loud plus bass is remarkable, turned it on for work and had the entire crew jamming with me!
