I don't recomand it.
This camera running very hot since I install at June, 2024. The camera stop working every other week. I have to cycle the power to it every week. I called technical support so many times and they told me the same thing as"to remove it from the system and reinstall it again". But it did not fixed the problem. I hope they can take it back fixed the problem.

Cameras were great in the beginning but most times you can't view in on the app. Every time it says something went wrong! Will be looking for different cameras to replace Lorex

Camera
Its a great little camera. It would be nice if they made them to access laptops instead of phones. My phone doesn't have a lot of memory, and to purchase the converter to access my laptop is another $200 which is unaffordable for me, I'm on Social Security.

Serious ongoing firmware issues with these cameras
Serious programming (firmware) issues with these cameras.

Excellent product and support
So far the system is working great. I get notices when someone is in my barn or by my garage just as I want. I am not very tech so really have appreciated the support department as they walked me through some set up issues. The manual that comes with it could be more explicit for people like me.

These cameras should not be on the market
This camera is very poor and unstable quality. I have to reset it every week for lost connection. It unable to see the object when environment is dark. Do not waste your time and money.

Camera works great. . . . . when it works. I am constantly having to drag my ladder out to climb the 2 stories to hit the reset button on this thing because it stops working. Usually once every 2 weeks I have to do this for it to work again. Lorex used to be top of the line
Lorex cameras used to be top of the line, but now they are no longer at the top. Lorex needs to update their systems with more features and capabilities. Because they haven’t upgraded their functionality, a $20 to $50 camera has way more capabilities and their setup is much easier and faster than Lorex. Wireless connection failed after format upgrade
Worked fine till a format upgrade around June 24. wireless connection got progressively worse. till Dec. I am not even able to connect to the hotspot much less connect my wi-fi router to the camera.

Connectivity Issue
The camera has gone offline three times so far, and I had to reset each time. That is very frustrating. I do like the quality and features of the camera when it is online.
