causes respiratory problems
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 1900 mpr filters and installed them. After a half hour of operation, I found breathing difficult and noticed a strange odor. Are these filters treated with some chemical? Not happy, considering the price of the filter.

Long Time User of MPR 1900 16x20x1
Have used Filtrete MPR 1900 16x20x1 for 5 years and have never had an issue with fit or performance. During non-HVAC times of the year, I will run the air handler only for 30 minutes and it cleans the home air. And although the recommended filter replacement is every 3 months, I get 6 months of use so it's not high cost for what you get. It's also in a home location qui...

How About a 18x20x1 filter rated 1900?
I need a 18x20x1 1900 filter but Filtrete doesn't make one, settled for a 1500 but not satisfied. Found an Aerostar filter and an evaluating it, but would prefer Filterate for good quality control and honest rating assessment.

Extremely beneficial for my allergies
Upon advice from my doctor to purchase a better a/c filter, I researched and purchased two of these. We quickly noticed a difference in the air quality, my headaches and sneezing are much better now. Excellant Filter
I upgraded from the Allergant Protector (also a great filter) just to see if I could tell a difference. I can! The air seems cleaner and it gives me peace of mind knowing that it helps with bateria and viruses.

You Deserve Clean Air
As a long time Filtrete user, I remain impressed at its ability to do exactly what it's supposed to do. I have less dust, less odor, and just generally cleaner smelling air. It is worth the price.

First two both said they were locked and I need to contact service. I didn’t want the hustle. Then it paired. A month later I checked it and not working again. Pulled the filter. It needed changing.
