Perfect for small wrist
I bought this based on the size since I have a very small wrist. Definitely great for a small wrist! However it ends there. The stress feature which is part of the tracking is frustrating and there should be a way to turn it off. Great for motivating me to get off my butt!
I've had this for several weeks, and it has been a great motivator. There are a lot of features I don't use, mostly because you need to manually input data, like how much water you drink. However, it does motivate me go up and down the stairs and do two walks per day, so I am happy with it.

Comfortable fit
I love the newer Vivofit 5. The face is bright and readable. And it has no problem telling me to Move. I wear it at night to track my sleep pattern and the odd thing is, it flashes. It does not wake me up per se, but it provide for an interesting light show. I have not figured out why yet

does it work for me
no to hard to set and it does not show us anything much we look for heat rate can't fine it we try to connect to our phone we can't do it, we thought it would she b/p and pluse that was the main thing we needed

Not impressed
As a FIT Bit user, I wanted to try something different.
For me, too many features that are not useful. Sleep has to be manually ended. Unable have time only on watch. Needs daily charging with minimal features enabled. Can be user unfriendly.

Thanks for voicing your concerns! Your Vivosmart 5 should be automatically tracking when your sleep session has ended. If it's not doing this, I recommend checking to ensure that your sleep and wake window is set accurately. Here's how you can do that:

An Upgrade from Vivosport
My third Vivosport expired so I upgraded to Vivosmart 5.
Plus - It linked up directly with my phone, real effort.
Plus - It picked up most or all of my previous data and settings.
Plus - It works almost the same as the Vivosport for most things.
Plus - Have not used the 'find my phone' feature but set it off once accidentally.

Connecting Vivosmart 5 to Android Motorola phone
I bought my Vivosmart 5 two month's ago. Great features and data for all activities. Challenges persist with connecting/pairing the Vivosmart device to Motorola Android phone and Garmin Connect. Bluetooth is enabled, still connection fails often and only solution I found is deleting and reinstalling the GarminConnect app. Big annoyance.

Absolutely Worthless
I added the VIvosmart 5 to my Garmin account over three weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. I have had Garmin devices for over 10 years and never experienced the problems like I have with the Vivosmart 5.The device consistently disconnects from the Garmin App. I have deleted the App three different times as the device fails to sync with it.

Not the best product
I really hate giving this a poor rating but it takes forever to sync and loses contact with app continuously, I would like to believe they do make a better Garmin and perhaps mine is the cheap version

Hi! I would recommend to check for software updates on the Vivosmart 5. If there is not an update, please uninstall/reinstall the Garmin Connect app. You can also remove and re-add the watch in the Garmin Connect app, this might help with the Bluetooth connection.

It's pretty good
Two things I don't love. The watch face doesn't have color you can select, and I have to charge it every 2 days. Both things make me miss my vivofit watch. I also cant send a thumbs up to my messages I get over my watch I've had with previous Garmin watches.

Great fitness watch all around
I bought this around a month ago and I just love it so much. The part I love the most is how it tracks everything you do, such as your steps, cardio, and heart rate and a whole lot more. Not a good as a FitBit
I bought this because I did not want to be a part of the google data collection system by buying a new FitBit to replace my old one. The Vivosmart is harder to operate, confusing, and very hard to see in daylight. Looking for it's replacement. The Connect app is great!

So, so…..
Got this watch intending to track swim workouts and maybe wt sessions. It is interesting that it sometimes knows what wt exercises you’re doing but it’s about 30% accurate. For instance if you do bent rows with free weights or on a wt machine it thinks you’re doing pushups.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the vivosmart 5. That watch uses motion patterns to automatically detect activities and repetitions, so exercises with similar wrist movements (like rows and push-ups) can sometimes be misidentified.

Mine does not stay linked
I’ve had for about 3 weeks . Linked with twin and have to constantly go to Bluetooth then do all steps to get it to reconnect
