You will need to purchase a MicroSD card separately for the system to record locally. We do offer other models that come with a memory card included, which may be worth considering if you prefer a ready-to-use option. Regarding cloud storage, this is an optional feature. Subscribing to Secure+ Plan allows you to access additional benefits, such as remote backups and extended recording history. However, even without a subscription, your recordings will still save directly to the MicroSD card you install. We hope this helps clarify how storage works with your system. Hi Sac87, We're sorry to hear about your battery issues. That’s not the experience we want for you. Battery life is dependent on the number of recordings and the amount of time a user spends on live streaming. We suggest lowering the sensitivity level, adjust your detection zone to reduce unnecessary recordings and position the doorbell strategically to reduce the recording time. We're unsure what you mean by "changing the SD card to change the feature playback" but if you decide to change/upgrade the SD card, it needs to be formatted using the app first. You can then access the recordings via the Device Settings/Storage. Thanks for the feedback, Greg. We've passed your feedback to our development team to help with their ongoing work in the platform performance improvements. The duration of the live view function can vary depending on the app settings, network latency and interference. The detection sensitivity can be increased via the app settings, although, recordings will always continue if motion is being detected. For example, if the recording duration is set to 10s, it will record for only 10s if a person just walks pass. However, if the person remains within the detection zone, it will continue to record until the person leaves. If it stops recording, then there is actually nothing to record and by limiting unnecessary recordings, helps increase the battery life. We also recommend to strategically place your doorbell so that it can immediately detect a visitor as they make their way to the door.
