Great Sewing Machine
This is one of the best Brother Sewing and Embroidery Machine I have ever owned. I’m not a professional but this machine definitely works for everyone. Don’t waste your time.
It was good when I first got it, but definitely not anymore. It keeps messing up my embroidery designs, and does not work smoothly, mind you I haven’t used it much either! Lets just say I’m looking for another machine to replace this thing.

Perfect for earnest beginners
Just right for beginner, the SE700 has let me learn how to assemble embroidery projects, choose onboard patterns, change thread, upload from the Artspira app, and customize images. I am happy that this small investment - compared to pricey machines - has been such a wealth of experience.

Brother SE 700
“I’m happy with my Brother SE700 embroidery machine, but the small nut on the embroidery hoop loosened quickly and it’s hard to find a replacement.”

Good
I like this machine, but like everything, it’s not perfect. Wish area you can embroider was a little larger. The directions are a little confusing and it can get stressful. The designs do come out really nice.

am above the moon on my purchase
i purchased this particular brother for the embroidery function. The plus is if i need a sewing machine when my other machine is on the !ongarm frame i am good to go.
But yes using it mainly for embroidery. Threading was supper simple.
Price point was very agreeable.. shipping was quick.
Looking forward to many years using this machine

Embroidery difficult
As far as a sewing machine I have used it many times. For embroidery I need a tutorial, a CD a site, something I can watch and learn to use the embroidery! I need like option to work before Christmas. I am lost……

Love, love, love this machine!
Love, love, love this machine!! It is my first time using an embroidery machine and I am hooked. It is an easy to use machine filled with lots of pre-loaded images and fonts. Even if you are new to sewing, you will soon be obsessed with the SE700.

Disappointed
Received my machine, but missing half of the accessories, more specifically the embroidery foot! After watching some YouTube videos it looks like I’m missing the little white bag with all the accessories in it. I’ve reached out to customer service, but she was not able to assist and needs to send this up the customer service chain. I’m not able to do anything, but sew! ...

SE 700 Embroidery and Sewing Machine
Excellent Machine for all around small embroidery projects or any sewing projects. You can do large embroidery projects once you are experienced with how to move the design within the hoop. Previously owned Baby Lock and this machine performs just as well for less money!

Exceptional Machine
This machine is amazing, it does everything I need and expected! This is my first computerized machine, I have always used an old 1995 Singer, great job Brother!! The options on this machine are many!!

Love my Brother SE 700
This is the first embroidery sewing machine I have ever had and I love it! I have used Brother Sewing machines since I started sewing. I love the self threading and how user friendly it is for my first time embroidering.

New machine thoughts
Received this as Christmas gift as I’ve been doing hand embroidery for a little over a year and had been looking at other options. This has been a lot of fun, but highly recommend getting help from a professional if it’s been a while since you’ve sewn or have never sewn. I’m loving the embroidery functionality.

New to Brother machines
I have loved this machine so far. I have not yet pulled out the embroidery pieces but for quilting and making gift items, it has been so wonderful! It is easy to use, glides smoothly, has lots of stitch options and has just been fabulous so far.
