Could have been a 5 star
I absolutely love it! I am having so much fun creating gifts for my family members. I would have left a five star rating if only the method to upload designs wirelessly or without drive was easier using Aspira. The need to upload latest version is not an easy task. So much so that I no longer use that feature.

Love it
I loved this machine and used the embroidery as well as to quilt. All my kids loved creating projects. I only lost it when we had a hurricane come through. This is a well rounded machine.

Good beginner machine
Its a great little starter machine with some issues. The automatic threader doesn't always work and I had to take it to the shop within the first month for a needle issue. I believe I will get my money's worth out of it.

Tension probs
This is my 3rd brother embroidery machine and I have had constant issues with the bobbin tension. I have never had to adjust the bobbin tension in any of my other machines and this machine has required adjustments with almost every single item sometimes during the embroidery process. Awesome embroidery machine
This is my first embroidery machine, so there was a bit of a learning curve. My friend that also came over and spent about 15 minutes with me going over the machine basics. Beginner Friendly and advice!
I am a beginner and this is so easy to use. Best advice NO PRE WOUND BOBBINS. Wind your own with Brother 90wt on the machine. Had issues in beginning with using pre wound and now that I wind my own it runs like a dream!

Broke immediately
Broke less than 48 hours after receiving and the only service center in my state never picks up their phone and was closed in the middle of a Monday when I tried to go in person.

I enjoyed this machine but wanted a bigger field and hoop so I returned this one and purchased the NQ1700E because of the larger size

Needle lever broke
Received the PE900 for Christmas. Was very excited to start my first project. My first project turned out great. But on the second test project the needle threader lever broke, it’s plastic. Why make it out of plastic when you have to put a little force on it. Is there a replacement? Or do I need to return the entire machine??

Ease of Use
