Don’t buy it!
Waste of money! My machine broke after owning it for 7 months making a little girls dress seam with normal cotton fabric. When I tried to take a shop to repair it, one place quoted me more than the cost of the machine, and several places said they won’t touch this model because it’s made to break. Needs better threading instructions

Simple and a Good Value
I have another serger but it takes about an hour to get it threaded. I wanted seams that look clean and professional so I decided to try th 1034D. It is a very simple machine to thread and use. It does every thing I need it to do. Love ir!

Although i am a new user i have noticed the machine seems to be a little hesitant at start-up. Maybe fur to type motor not certain.otger than that works great.

Overall decent machine easy to use
Overall this machine was easy to thread as a beginner who’s never even seen a serger before. It’s been working pretty well, but having trouble with tension settings and thread breaking, other than that it gets the job done.

Good machine. Recommend as your first serger.
I have sewn endless hoodies and t-shirts. Watched some YouTube videos for tips and tricks. Highly recommend doing so before you make a decision.

Good little machine great price

Surger Not the Best Quality
This Surger seems to not be of the best quality. If you ever have an issue with the alignments of the needles and upper and lower loopers it’s a nightmare to take the machine apart and try to align…IT’S NOT EASY! Good luck, I’m on my 2nd surger.

I already own a previous version of this serger. It's easy to thread and the differential settings, width and length settings are great. It allows me to adjust for different types of fabrics. It sews knits fabulously.

Great machine, priced right
Easy to thread if instructions are followed and a tutorial watched. Works very well with different types of fabric. I’m a beginner, and this serger gives my work a clean finish. Priced right. My only observation is that it’s a little shaky/lightweight.

Disappointed
This worked great for about three months. Now it refuses to create a chain, the upper looper arm sticks and I've broken about seven needles trying to correct the issues.
If I had known how problematic this machine was, I would have shelled out a bit extra for a more dependable one. Even worse, it was my birthday gift to myself!

Works well at first, but Fragile Cheaply made
Out of the box, sews beautifully. But it takes very little to bend any one of the cheaply made moving metal parts in the intricate system. Stitching across the top of another seam was enough to snag the thread and bend the metal on the lower looper, causing it to jam & throw out the tension in the upper looper. Nice machine
I’m just getting started on using a serger and have watched a lot of videos regarding this machine. I just finished my first project, and it actually turned out pretty good. The machine is easy to use and works great!
