Love my machine!
After spending hours researching which cutting machine would be best, I picked the Scan and Cut SDX125e and couldn't be happier! I wasn't expecting the detail in the cuts to be as perfect as they are, even with some of my smaller detailed designs. Definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market!

Very disappointed with the performance
I am so disappointed. I bought this machine for my business and to also make crafts with my son. I opened the box, set up the software and got right to work. First thing I realize is the software I was hoping to use isn’t available in the US. That was the first of many problems. To sell a machine and not disclose this is not acceptable and I feel as though I was scammed...

Great hardworking machine.
I love my machine. Purchased about 4 years ago. Having problems with the mat feeding properly, which I hope gets fixed soon.

Works well, BUT...
The machine works fine, but getting images into a format that it can use is a little convoluted.

Great Machine, Low-Quality & Expensive Mats
Quality, very capable machine. Unfortunately, the mats are both expensive and poorly made, losing their tackiness far sooner than anticipated. For this reason, I do not recommend this machine.

I would love to love it!
This is probably a great machine. The problem I’m sure is the operator. There is much to learn about how it works. I feel like I stay confused. Hoping it gets better.

Easy to Create
Love this machine! There are so many helpful tutorials on line if you get stuck. You can honestly get started just by turning it on and complete your first project.

Epic FAIL
I have purchased 2 scan n cut machines and they have both failed, one within 2 months and the first within a year. It doesn’t load the mat correctly, it goes in crooked. New mat, old mat, it doesn’t matter. When it cuts it shifts the mat, ruining a lot of expensive paper. I’m about to throw the machine out the window. My sdx125e
This machine hasn't cut since the dayI got it. I have reached out to brother and have they have not been successful with helping me. I have watched many video's and have joined groups to figure this out. It is now in for service. Really not happy. Does not work as advertised

The Missing Piece
I love my Scan N Cut!!! It is very easy to use but there is a learning curve. I embroider using my embroidery/sewing machine. My projects come out perfectly and beautifully. This is the only brand printer from here on out!
I have never had a printer that was so easy to use! Brother brand is the way to go! I’ve always bought other brand and only had luck with them for about the first few prints! But not this one. I can be anywhere away from my printer and request that something gets printed and when I arrive it’s there in the tray waiting for me! How handy! The set up was super easy!

Complicated
I sent my unit back. I found it complicated to set up. I didn’t understand why there are two apps to use it. It couldn’t be used on windows so I couldn’t set it up on my laptop. It had to be setup on my iPad or phone. . It could have just been me but it seemed too complicated compared to the cricut.

Workhorse
A must have for all makers. This machine is life saver. Only negative is not the machine but Brothers cutting mats. Adhesive wears out too easily and fabric doesn’t stick thus resulting to bad cuts.

Junk, don't buy. Warranty is ridiculous
Only used a handful of times was like brand new. Machine now won't turn on cost as much to fix as a new machine. At their price point should last more than 10 uses on simple items. Bought a bunch of accessories that are now useless. Tell me why my older cm never had these issues

Not User Friendly!
This machine has so much potential but it falls short. It is not very user friendly. I think it would help if the canvas workshop had an app for the iPad. I bought it to save me time, and so far it has cost me time and money.
