Lower back and shoulder support is very good for a tall person (I am just over 190 cm). Seat and base are very solid. I'm very happy with this chair for my office.

Poor Quality for Expensive Chair Don't buy!
This is an update to a previous review. The tear on the seat has gotten bigger and uglier. You would think I purchased this chair at the cheapest of prices, instead of for $399. I love this chair! It is so comfortable and soft. It is well made however I had to tighten the screw on the arm 2x.

Very comfortable!
This chair was a gift for my brother. He often has back pain, and he is thrilled with how comfortable he is in this chair. He's 6'2", and the chair fits him well and no back pain! Would definitely recommend. My brother loves his chair!

Bought two and both need to be replaced
I bought two of these and both are substandard. The 'bonded' leather is coming off on the seats and armrests. They squeak loudly without regular tightening of the screws underneath.
