I prefer the CD as entering the license code was confusing as it did not show up where to enter. Had to call for assistance and after 2 calls finally was able to get in. If Turbo wants to do it this way, should make it easier to enter the code when you bring up the site. Just my thoughts. Been using Turbo for over 20 years and never had a problem.

Worthless and Returned
20 year turbo tax and Qicken user. Got stuck, help was worthless, no 800 contact, chatbot worthless, returned. A total waste of time. Staples Staff was GREAT!

I think it is absolutely awful that Intuit has stopped offering the CD Much easier to file your taxes using the CD

No Discs Anymore Sucks!
I went to Staples because I wanted a disc to have as a backup in case of a crash. Turns out I bought an empty packet. I could have just gone online and gotten the same thing and cut out Staples. If no disc in the future, then no Staples!

If you need help in Chat, they don't know anything. If you call for help they want you to give the access but don't have a clue how to help you. I don't allow anyone access to my computer. Basically, they want you to pay an additional $60.00 for live Chat. I paid taxes due at the end but was not able to print a receipt. Had to wait until it showed up in my Bank A...

Tough to install this year.
This year TurboTax, 2024, did not have the correct version of C++. So it would crash after you installed it on a windows machine.
I figured out a workaround.
First install the TurboTax version that you bought.
Second, go to Intuit website and manually update your version.
Third, go to Microsoft and attempt to install all 3 files of C++ updates. Some may fail. But, ...

My income tax return was a simple one and TurboTax led me through all the sections. I just filled in the blanks and “Boom!”, it was done and I did the electronic file. Within 5 minutes I received an email stating the return was accepted.
