Fantastisch
The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro makes my life so much easier! I don’t have to rush to the door anymore. I can see who’s there right from my phone. It’s been amazing for deliveries (no more missed packages!) and I feel so much safer knowing I can check in anytime, even when I’m not home. The video is super clear, day or night, and I love how sleek it looks on my front doo...

Variable performance
These batteries have been quite variable in terms of quality in my experience. I have three for two devices and charge and swap them out as needed. One of them has already degraded to the point that it does not perform well (significantly less longevity when compared to the others) and they are fairly expensive so I can only give 3 stars.

Reliable and easy to use with great video quality,
I’ve been using the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro and overall, I’m impressed. The video quality is excellent, even at night, and I like the quick alerts on my phone. Installation was super easy since it’s battery-powered—no wiring needed. The smart detection filters out most false alerts, which is a big plus. However, the battery life isn’t great; I have to recharge it more...

Solid system! Buy pro.
Great system. Easy to use and install. Don’t hesitate to buy even if you feel safe. It’s just nice to know who is approaching and leaving at all times regardless.

New to ring
I’ve had Ring just about a month. I’m still learning a lot about it, but I’ve enjoyed the product and it does make me feel better about security of my home.

Much improved with a few problems
I had to purchase my own horizontal wedge. While the faceplate screw goes in easily [all the way in] when the faceplate is left off, when I put the faceplate in place, the screw doesn't go in all the way. Tried several times.

Great product
I was curious to see the actual benefits from this device. I can honestly say we are still getting shocked with more benefits almost every day with even more added benefits from the device. Also the battery powered one the install was seamless.

Ours broke within several days.
If we can get the thing working correctly, and the software to record the entire events that would be a plus. Our unit is on a gate entrance and the wifi signal is poor at 100 feet away so keep that in mind if you want to put it anywhere but touching your home or router.

Response from Staples :
Hi MeThePeople. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how important it is for your Ring Battery Doorbell Pro to function consistently and reliably. The features and technology provided by the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the concerns you mentioned in your review. It sounds like you have some concerns with the recording length of events as well as the connectivity of your device. The Ring app gives you the power to control how long your Ring devices record events. By lowering or raising your video recording length, you can either record longer events to capture more detail or record shorter events to preserve battery life. Follow these steps to adjust your device's recording length: Open the Ring app and tap on the Menu (≡). Tap Devices. Tap on the device you wish to adjust. Tap Device Settings. Tap Video Settings. Tap Recording Length. Tap Record For. When the list appears, you can select a preferred recording length. Having a strong wifi signal is vital for your device to work as intended. Follow these steps to check your device's wifi signal strength—or RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator)—in the Ring app: Open the Ring app. Tap the Menu (☰). Tap Devices and select the Ring device you'd like to check. Tap the Device Health tile. Under the Network section, look for Signal Strength. If the RSSI value listed is green, your device has a strong signal. If it is grey, amber, or red, it may have a moderate to weak signal. The larger the number after "RSSI-" the weaker the signal. For example, a device displaying "RSSI-36" has a stronger signal than a device showing "RSSI-64". If your signal strength is very weak, if possible, try moving your router to another location or moving your Ring device closer to your router. The ideal distance between a router and Ring device is under 20 feet. Visit our support center for more information: https://ring.com/support/articles/2ki93/Checking-Your-Ring-Device-Wifi-Signal-Strength. In an effort to provide our neighbors with the most recent news and instructional material, Ring Community was established in March 2019. So far Great!
It's been three weeks since I installed our Ring Battery Doorbell Pro. First off, the battery really lasts, drops about 10% a week. Second, I really like that I can look at the live feed and the replays and zoom in. And lastly it will pick up someone approaching at about 35 feet away, which is about where my vehicles are. Personally, I like that.

Great Video DoorBell
Having access to a doorbell that you don’t have to have an electrician install is one of the key factors for choosing this door bell.
We just moved into a house that has a wired doorbell but it is buried in the wall and would cost a lot to install the wired version of the ring.
This Ring fits our needs. It is perfect for mounting anywhere we want, being battery powere...

Its ok
Decent video quality and easy set up. The issue I have is the long delay before notification when it senses motion. If someone or something is on your porch, they'll be gone before your notified. I was under the impression from the ad that you get notified in real time

Response from Staples :
Hi Tammy. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how critical it is to be able to monitor the comings and goings of your home in real-time. Being able to rely on the alerts to know when someone is at your door is an essential feature of the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro. We would love the opportunity to address your concerns and ensure your device is performing optimally for your home's environment. It sounds like you have some concerns with the timeliness of the notifications you are receiving. The speed at which you receive motion notifications will be dependent on a couple of factors, such as your Ring device's wifi signal, your cell phone's signal, motion settings chosen within the Ring app, and the positioning of your Ring Video Doorbell Pro. You can follow these steps to check wifi signal strength—or RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator)—in the Ring app: Open the Ring app. For example, a device displaying "RSSI-36" has a stronger signal than a device showing "RSSI-64." Visit our support center for more information on signal strength: https://ring.com/support/articles/2ki93/Checking-Your-Ring-Device-Wifi-Signal-Strength. We also recommend ensuring that your device is mounted at the proper height for optimal motion detection. For the best results, mount the doorbell about 4 feet (1.2 meters) above the ground. If it is mounted higher than this or mounted atop a set of stairs, you will want to angle the doorbell down using a wedge kit (sold separately).
