This ice tray is great!
I bought this ice tray and it is perfect. When you put the water inside the tray the cover stops it from spilling over when you put it in the freezer. Also to get the ice cubes out just turn the tray over and bang a little and all the ice cubes come out very easily. Great invention.

No Spill Ice Cube Tray
I love covers on ice trays. It minimizes spills and keeps odors out. I wish OXO would also make a solid top ice tray and trays in different cube sizes. Silicon may work better for freshness, but I dislike the smell and feel of silicon.

While the silicone cover DOES keep the water in, the design of the trough around the cubes is backwards: it holds more water towards the back where the silicone attaches instead of directing the water towards the front to be dumped. Well thought out features.
I received the Oxo ice cube tray in the mail and immediately started using it. I like how the tiny ice compartments have space between them rather than being directly next to each other. Surprisingly useful!
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I didn't realize how useful the no-spill feature would be until I started using this. I don't have to worry about the tray spilling when I tip it, and this means I can actually pack more things in my freezer and not worry about keeping the ice tray totally level. I love products that surprise me!

Great Ice Tray!
I live in an older home with no way to hook up an ice maker so trays are a must. These are very sturdy, no fear of cracking the tray when getting the cubes out. The silicone cover does an amazing job keeping the ice from absorbing freezer odors. I will most certainly be purchasing more.

Not your usual ice cube tray
I was hesitant to believe this was spill proof. On the first try it did spill a little, but I emptied it and tried again. I got perfect ice cubes that removed easily and didn’t spill when set in its side.

Smart Design
I use this for freezing leftover liquids like heavy cream, egg yolks or marinated fresh herbs. Once frozen, I place the individual cubes in a freezer bag. Each cube is roughly a tablespoon so this makes it easy for recipes. I particularly like the silicone lid because it helps prevent spills, evaporation, freezer burn and odors.
