I would consider myself to have a good amount of knowledge when it comes to sewing machines. I read the directions and set up the machine. I found the directions to be easy to read and very helpful. Broke quickly and brother won’t replace
I have used brother machines for many years. I bought this one for my mom in February. the machine broke a while back and is not working properly. I called brother and they said there is a one year warranty but I would have to take it to a sewing shop and pay 129$ to have it looked at. I am pleased
It functions as expected. I am pleased with the machine. There was a little damage to the accessory storage piece, one of the clips that hold it in place was broken off but superglue fixed it.

Changed my mind love new sewing machines after all
I love this sewing machine. I was used to the older ones like 30 yrs old but after being on a waiting list for a whole year to buy a used one of that age. I finally got a new one . It's more computerized I thought I wouldn't like it but it's been great! Thanks for opening my eyes.

Need help with stitch dial

Great Sewing Machine; Auto-threader COMPLICATED
I LOVE Brother sewing machines, but have one major issue with this one. I need, and want to use, the AUTO-THREADER but have been unable to use it because I can't figure out HOW it works. Little workhorse
I bought this machine to do light repair on costumes and general sewing. I has exceeded my expectations of a machine at the price. I have done lightweight leatherwork on it as well as freehand embroidery. I have used it to top stitch a few leather wallets and bags as well. Easy, portable, surprisingly strong
This is a dandy little machine! I picked it up at a thrift store as an easy-peasy portable mechanical (I sew primary on vintage machines which are very heavy) and I find myself selecting this one to sew with over and over! Frustrating little machine

Awesome
I love this sewing machine. I’m not a professional I just needed one that I could use once in a while or on a project bases. I had to watch YouTube videos on how to start. Good news is that it’s easy to understand and tread. I really enjoy the smoothness of it and how fast it can go. If you are looking for one do try this one.

Very easy to use and start sewing.
My wife has used this Brother MZ53 Sewing Machine a few times and she likes uaing it. She doesn't have a lot of experience using sewing machines but this was easy to use and had no issues. Worth It!
A few weeks ago I got the Brother - Brother MZ53 Sewing Machine, with 53 Built-in Sewing Stitches and it's amazing. You can do all kinds of different stitches, use this for buttons and zippers. Easy to use!
I love this sewing machine! I was needing a machine for little projects around the house, sewing blankies and fixing pillow cases come to mind. This sewing machine is small, easy to store, and very easy to use. I am very happy with it!

New hobby
I have wanted a sewing machine for many years and this model is perfect for a beginner like myself. It is easy to thread, easy to use and I've developed a new hobby. I especially like the many pre-programmed stitches. I think anyone who is new to the hobby would be able to pick it up quite easily using this sewing machine.

Sister Stitching
I picked this sewing machine up as a gift for my sister, as her broke recently. She loves it and the machine works great. I watched her put together a quilt in a matter of hours. She said it was leaps and bounds better than the one it replaced with the various sewing stitches.
