It is a mess
After 8 happy years with a Fenix 5, I decided to upgrade to a Fenix 8. it has been nothing but a mess. My primary use is for golfing. The Golf app frequently crashes. Often it does not advance to the next hole. Today is started on the 9th hole. Who starts on the 9th hole? It would not advance and the yardages did not change as I walked. Garmin‘s best watch yet!
I have owned Garmin watches since the Fenix 6. The newest.Fenix 8 is incredible. I find it hard to exceed its abilities. Including the fact that it is my back up scuba diving computer. I wouldn’t wear anything else.

Garmin is Locked In
The Fenix 8 has helped motivate me to continue my passion for running and personal improvement. At 53, I’m still getting Personal Best runs following the Garmin recommended training runs.

Exceptional Screen Quality
Screen clarity and brightness are phenomenal. Watch functions are smooth, fast and very responsive to both button and touch actions. Battery life is great, daily activity tracked and took 20 days to get down to 30%.

AMOLED is king
AMOLED is such a good upgrade rom the Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire (solar). Found that as I get a little older, had a harder time seeing the day time. Such a good upgrade overall

The Best I've Used
I have had a total of four Apple Watches. The last was an Ultra, with the promise of better battery life. While this was true for the first year, it wasn't for the remaining three. Upgrade
I have had this for about a month and it is the third generation I've own over the years. This is a must have if you currently have any other model. It is brighter and has a better response during physical activity than the last models.

All Around Great Watch
I’ve had the Fenix 8 for about a month. I had a Garmin Instinct 2 solar before and decided to upgrade and get the Fenix. It has been worth it.
It maps extremely well on outdoor runs and tracks everything you could possibly need.

Super Integration with Garmin and Phone Systems
I upgraded from my Garmin Fenix 5+ to the Fenix 8, 51mm Amoled display. It's great. I am very happy with the new capabilities and easy integration with my Garmin bike computer and phone. Happy camper here!

Pro:Screen readability Con:Golf Course not loading
This 51mm AMOLED Fenix 8 Pro screen is awesome! I've enjoyed the readability in all light conditions, and the functions are intuitive to navigate. My only gripe is that the golf courses (any of the three local courses I live near) will not load onto the watch.
