Overall Fantastic - Fenix User for Long Time
This is at least my sixth watch under the banner of Fenix. So I'm a dedicated and satisfied customer. I've had once or twice where I've had to get replacements over the years but this version Fenix 8 has serve me well. Like to see more with nutrition library and finally got ECG working since returning to the United States recently, at least here for the moment.

This is my 3rd garmin watch and they just keep making them better and better. I enjoy all the features and the new screen makes it more vibrant than the last.

Top of the line. Top choice.
I've been a Garmin user for years and they just keep outdoing their previous models. The Fenix 8 is no exception. Comfortable, fully featured, and worth every penny.

I like this watch
I've had it a month, swithing from an Apple Watch. I was worried because I am in the mac ecosystem with an iPhone, iPad, and Mac. But it integrates smoothly, no hassle at all. So Clean and Leaves no Stone unturned
As a 6 foot four male I love this watch. It doesn’t feel too big for me. The features are super clean. I don’t feel like over informed. I actually like a lot of the information that it gives to me. Worth the money
I’ve been using a Fenix watch for many years. At age 76 I questioned whether it was worth upgrading from my Fenix 5. After daily use for the past month I’ve found the additional features were well worth the money.

Looks good but it’s glitchy
Got it on 1/14/2026 opened it up put on charger. All excited about this watch. Came home did what it said downloaded the app scanned the watch. Took forever to pair. Tried to set up the ecg app said not enough information. Said my heart rate was like 175. Put it on and noticed it was always on the sun set/sun rise screen. Love it!!
Love my new Fenix 8. Just upgraded from the 6. The screen is so easy to read. I love the touch screen - it's just as sensitive as my iPhone screen. I thought the flash light was going to be gimmicky - but it actually works great reading menus in dark restaurants and finding my way in the dark. Battery life is crazy. Easy to use--accurate.
I've lived with my Fenix 8 for about 8 months now. It's proven to be easy to use and has some great, "didn't know I'd use that" features like the flashlight and find my phone chime.

Feature packed watch
This is an amazing watch with many advanced features. I would highly recommend it based on the longevity of the battery, brightness of the screen and user interface to anyone looking for an industry leading smartwatch.

Great but probably the last
The Garmin Fenix 8 is a top-tier sports smartwatch. However, extremely high price and requirement of a paid subscription to unlock advanced features.
Now I'm facing a problem that my watch just disappear from my garmin connect app and I need to restart the pair process (and product registration).
In general, it's good but you always will question if it worth.

Not happy
I've been purchasing Garmin watches for 5 years, and they keep taking things away that matter. I loved Garmin express I could use on my MacBook to download apps and watch faces to my watch but they decided to take that option away and make us use ConnectIQ on our phones which isn't as good, it doesn't show all the watch faces like Garmin Express does. Great features, missing faces
I am happy with the watch except there is only one watch face available. All other faces have to be purchased. This is a huge setback for Garmin.
