Need a hike tracker
I don’t know how many stars to rate because it may be user error. I don’t enjoy it so far. I want to backpack with it for very long distances but I can’t even get the hike on the screen to display distance, time, elevation gain and pace. I can’t make the wheel show the icons I need. And my parrot already bit off one of the loops that hold down the watch band. I only us...

Objective and Subjective Review for Watermen
Candid opinion, from perspective of a full time charter guide and ocean enthusiast:
1.The extra tech features (voice, phone connectivity, etc) are not features I want on a watch. I want to be less connected to my phone, not more. So I turned the features off... but you are still paying for them.

Poor battery life
Disappointing battery life, loosing 10%+ daily with many hours of direct sunlight. My epix gen 2 had a better battery life with an amoled screen.

Garmin just keeps getting better and better…
I’ve been a loyal Garmin user since roughly 2017. I rely solely on Garmin for all of my cycling and running and weightlifting training. I have had numerous forerunner watches over the years and in the last several years I switched to the Fenix7. I now have the Fenix8 And I absolutely love it. It is very stylish and the screen is great and the buttons work great and ever...

Swiss Army Knife of Watches!
I thought my Forerunner had everything I needed - except battery life. So I upgraded to this watch. Wow!!! So many cool features I was missing out on! Nine metrics just on the watch face. Touchscreen scrolling and data access. I barely have to open the phone app anymore; it's all on my wrist. Plus fun features like the flashlight, nap timer, Health Status, compass, maps...

Great watch!!
The watch is perfect for my run and other activities. Too bad that my watch gets scratched on the first day of wearing it because I am clumsy.

Battery lasts two weeks without recharging
All that I hoped for and more! I bought it to track sleep, HR, runs, and VO2 max. It also does pulse oximetry and ECG. I love this device!

Great upgrade from the Fenix7
I had a ton of issues with my Fenix 7, HRM inaccuracies, GPS antenna breaking, ect. Picking up the 8 has been a completely different experience. It's ran flawlessly so far. I'm very impressed with it. The additional features are very handy (speaker, microphone)

Great all around watch
I upgraded from the original Venu to the fenix 8 solar. It's nice to have more activities to log, a larger screen and a watch that will last longer through my ultra runs. I havent been able to see much difference with the solar portion. My only issue is that I have smaller wrists, and the weight is considerably heavier and noticeable with this watch.

Does it ALL!
I received this watch as a gift. I'm so pleased with the new light feature and being able to talk right from my wrist. Never having to pause my activity for productivity. The Fenix 8 is like a personal assistant attached to you. Reminders, workouts, daily health stats, the list goes on and on.

Love it
Has amazing features that I’m still learning but it handles a lot more than the old versions. Now you can answer calls, make calls, and text through messenger. Very happy with this purchase

Does not track sleep as well as I think it should, but neither did my previous Fitbit, so maybe it's just me. Does not track naps automatically like the Fitbit, you can add them manually. Swimming is constantly off on lap length, but I'm not a pro swimmer so that may be why. Heart rate alerts go off a lot, but I have no known heart issues. Tracks hiking well. Excellent ...
