Great for golf
At first I had a little trouble figuring it out because I came from using the Garmin 62, but after a few rounds, I love it. I especially love the distance monitoring on second and third shots.

Amazing is an understatement
My Fenix 5 died after years of use, and it was the perfect excuse to upgrade to the Fenix 8 Solar. Discovering something new everyday and loving it!

Overall a great watch
Like the ability to see the watch,and it stayed charged while wearing it outdoors. Would be nice if there was a way to lock the screen so it does not come active when I'm not expecting it to light up.(theaters, at night, or any other times.

Good but not great
This could have been a great watch. The inconsistent HR readings during exercise (sometimes way too low, sometimes way too high) make it an expensive smartwatch.

Great all around watch
This watch is pretty awesome! Battery life is amazing lasts up to 3 weeks without a charge with apps running. Maps are flawless. Health apps are on point!

bought the wrong one
I enjoy the watch so far. it far exceeds my needs. My only complaint is my mistake, as I should have bought the Amoled.

Awesome watch
Have had the fenix 8 solar for about 3weeks or so and fell in love with it. I have only had to charge the watch twice which is really nice! Switched from Apple to garmin and won’t go back highly recommend

Great watch in many ways
This is my second fenix and it is a major upgrade - watch face is really easy to read, post exercise stats presentation is top of the line and the light is priceless

My Favorite Garmin Watch Yet
This is my fourth Garmin fitness tracker and by far my favorite one to date... the display is easy to read, the battery life is insane with the solar option, and the touch screen was an added nice touch. Best watch ever!!
After many years of thinking about it, I decided to ditch my Apple Ultra and buy the Fenix 8 Solar, and it's been the best decision I've made in years.
The readings are so accurate and precise, the sleep reading is AMAZING, and not to mention the battery life.
I exercise for two hours, six times a week, and the battery lasts 21 days! Nothing can beat that!
