Store was busy so we had to wait for a salesperson. We fiddled with the display model to pass time and managed to set off its theft alarm! We two old timers sat there looking pretty sheepish but got speedy attention. This method not recommended. Had feature I needed at a good price.
It worked well out of the box. Prompts to down load from the cloud helped to populate this computer with info from my former computer. I liked that Word was already on this computer, obviating the need to subscribe to Office 365.

I do not use Apple but the salesperson at the store told me it was so much faster than the other tablet offered. $100 more but MUCH better quality. I tend to keep my devices a long time. Worth the investment.
