Poorly made
My third multi cooker from Ninja. Very disappointed. I do shredded brisket in it. Slow and low 8 hours. Way too hot. Ruined it. Quality compared to the older black ones is horrible. Coating started flaking with first cook. The way the pot fits in the unit design is horrible.

Love the product , hate the design defect
The performance of the product I love! The pot gets chipped at the lid edge. I have the third lid coming, and the warranty handles the issue effortlessly, however I am afraid without design change I don't know how this issue won't occur again. I had purchased the newer model for my daughter as part of her Christmas gift, and I noticed the pot on that has a recess where ...

Love this appliance!
Love this cooker for how fast it cooks! I do soups, casseroles, bacon, eggs, stir fry, and use it for prepping large quantities of liquids for canning. I also love the Sous Vide mode for cooking perfect tender meat and poultry.

GREAT ADDITION TO MY KITCHEN!!!
Ordered this six days before Super Bowl so I could slow cook and do pulled pork. This thing is AWESOME! It has SO MUCH more features than my other slow cooker. Game day was great and I love this addition to my other Ninja appliances. I have their pressure cooker, flip toaster, multi blender, Flip oven, counter top grill and stainless sharpening knives to name a few. Pl...

Great multi purpose appliance.
We bought this multi cooking crock pot situation over a year ago. We use one or a combo of features to make soups DAILY for our store, including the Minestrone recipe included in their book. The high setting on the slow cooker is more like a low on a typical crock pot. But other than that it’s great appliance for our purposes. Our pot is starting to show wear and ...

Great, but...
I love everything about this pot, and I'd give it 5 stars if the liner pot was stainless steel. Is there one available that I don't know about?

Excellent Product Lots of Useful Functions
Excellent Product and looks great , has lots of features way more than just a slow cooker the sear function is super handy for searing off meat before turning to slow cooker function to save you having to get another fry pan out. Also the bread proof function is brilliant

Great concept. Poor execution.
Love the versatility but there are two major issues I don't like. One is that the slow cook settings are nowhere near what they should be compared to every other slow cooker I have ever used in my life. The low setting is barely hot enough to heat and takes many hours to cook anything. The high setting is far too hot and results in boiling the contents, evaporating any ...

Response from Staples :
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.
We’re really sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with the slow cook settings. We understand how frustrating it must be when Low doesn’t cook consistently and High runs too hot, especially when you want to leave a recipe unattended. We also understand your concern about the minimum time limit on the Low setting and the workaround you’ve had to use. However, while we’re glad you enjoy the versatility and searing feature, we’re sorry these design limitations have affected your experience. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to our product teams for future improvements.
We’d recommend that you refer to our self-help guide here to help troubleshoot the issue you’re experiencing: https://support.sharkninja.com/en-CA/article/MC1000-Series-Ninja-Foodi-PossibleCooker-Pro-Troubleshooting-Guide-ca. If the steps are unsuccessful, please follow the directions provided at the end of the guide.
Kind regards,
Shark Clean

Possible improvement
As much as I love this product, one thing I can think of that would make it SOOOOOO much better, is having a seal around the lid. My pot is scratched up from the lid scraping the sides.

Not Happy with This Appliance
I don't care for this model at all. The pre-heating function is time consuming and awkward. Having the power button on the left and the start button on the right is confusing. Why should you saute on one side and switching to cooking on the left with multiple selections for timer use and it must be on sous vide to continue cooking This machine needs to be simplified...

enamel rubbing off interior due to lid on and off
This was bought beginning of December. I've used it maybe 3 to 4 times I am now finding the lid is taking the nonstick enamel off of the inside of the cooker. I'm being very gentle with when removing and putting the lid on and also with washing it.But then enamal still keeps coming off every time I use it.

Response from Staples :
Hi Stevey,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. As someone who has used multiple Ninja multi‑cookers in the past, your perspective carries a lot of weight, and it’s clear that this latest unit didn’t meet the level of performance or durability you’ve come to expect. Having a long, slow cook run too hot, especially for something like shredded brisket, can be incredibly disappointing, and early flaking on the pot’s coating or issues with how the pot fits into the base should never take away from the cooking experience you’re aiming for. Our team would like the opportunity to review this with you more closely. When you’re able, please reach out to us here so we can assist further: https://support.sharkninja.com/en-CA/contact-us.
Kind Regards,
Ninja Kitchen US.

This is amazing! To use one cooking device for something as simple as a pot roast, is mind blows after years of sauté pans first. Bonus that it looks great
