Poorly made
My third multi cooker from Ninja. Very disappointed. I do shredded brisket in it. Slow and low 8 hours. Way too hot. Ruined it. Quality compared to the older black ones is horrible. Coating started flaking with first cook. The way the pot fits in the unit design is horrible.

Not Happy with This Appliance
I don't care for this model at all. The pre-heating function is time consuming and awkward. Having the power button on the left and the start button on the right is confusing. Why should you saute on one side and switching to cooking on the left with multiple selections for timer use and it must be on sous vide to continue cooking This machine needs to be simplified...

enamel rubbing off interior due to lid on and off
This was bought beginning of December. I've used it maybe 3 to 4 times I am now finding the lid is taking the nonstick enamel off of the inside of the cooker. I'm being very gentle with when removing and putting the lid on and also with washing it.But then enamal still keeps coming off every time I use it.

Amazing
This is amazing! To use one cooking device for something as simple as a pot roast, is mind blows after years of sauté pans first. Bonus that it looks great

Worked great , but the slow-cooking function died
I bought this about three months ago and initially loved it. Unfortunately, the slow-cooking function stopped working, which was a real disappointment. I contacted Ninja, and they are sending a replacement base. However, they first tried to charge me for shipping, and I had to argue to have the fee waived. That experience was not very pleasant.

I was so excited to receive this appliance.
I just opened it to put supper on and the back left leg is shorter than the others....ugh.

I don't like that Sear/Saute cooking temperatures are only Low or High. Low heat is still very hot.

Screw missing and it’s coming apart.
I bought this about four months ago . I use it whenever I can. My wife passed away in January and now I care for my handicapped son. I’m a navy veteran and a 30 yr. Law enforcement retiree. “Low” setting is too low
I was excited at first but slow cooker recipes sometimes don’t turn out right. Slow cook “low” setting is too low. Wish I could take it back. Worried the non-stick coating will start flaking off as I continue to use—quality is not reassuring.

I'm a HUGE ninja fan. I have multiple products for myself and have bought others for my daughter's. We all love every single one but the 8 5 quart ninja foodi is by far our favorite and go to for cooking all of our meals
I started a ninja Wednesday with my girls - they drop off their pot and it fits in mine so I can make them dinner to go and their busy days.
