Outstanding Modem and Orbi 870 Series Router
This is hands down, the best router out right now. I upgraded from the Netgear AX6000 to the CM3000 because the CM3000 is on the Xfinity Next Gen Tier list for modems. Top downloads are over 2.3 Gbps and uploads are 300 Mbps. My modem is connected to the Orbi 870 series mesh router. Lag times are non-existent now. I'm very satisfied with my setup now.

Newer units are junk
Turned on the router and it overheated and died within 30 minutes of installation.

Great machine
Easy to set up, basically turn it on,let your provider know model and away you go. Pair with mesh system and it's a perfect setup.

Cable modem pinnacle
I just want to say that this cable modem has exceeded my expectations.
I found out that I was being limited by my old modem when I was upgraded to the one gig bundle.
This modem takes the speed that I was promised and brings it into my house.
It was easy to set up and figure and I’ve have had no issues since.

The One and Only
If you use Xfinity you can buy your own modem or use theirs. While using theirs I noticed that Xfinity made my home a hot spot for their subscribers. They effectively resell you wifi. You can opt out in the app but mine kept turniing it on. So unless you want to give strangers access to your wifi and let Comcast resell your bandwidth you have to own your own equipme...

Nighthawk always works for me.
This is my third Nighthawk product from Netgear. The reason for multiple products is to keep pace with upgraded service from my ISP, I've never had an issue with any of my Nighthawk products. They work as advertised. I have Xfinity home internet, and pair this top-tier cable modem with an Orbi mesh wifi system, which is also a Netgear product..

Easy setup and fast.
I purchased the CM3000 because I believe this is highest quality multi-gig cable modem available. The CM3000 is a fantastic cable modem. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Reliable equipment
I've installed and run my network on Netgear Nighthawk cable modems for ~8 years. My only reason for recent replacement of my CM1000 was for an available speed increase (from 450 MB to 1200 MB ) by the cable company. As expected, the CM3000 connected seamlessly. I paired with a refurbished RS100 (2.5 GB over Cat 8) to my existing Netgear 1 GB switch (GS108) for the 1 GB...

Easy setup
I'm an 80-yr-old woman and I had no problem setting up my new modem. TV reception had been squirrelly lately and this new modem seems to have corrected that problem. I've been a Netgear fan for years and years.

Not bad for the price
Great product that installed quickly and got all my devices up and running in less than 30 minutes. Quick set up, slightly confusing (please just make it plug and play with one touch update to all existing devices on the network).

Much faster upload, ready for future upgrades
Xfinity finally decided to upgrade the network in our area so we could get faster speeds. The main issue was mostly the upload speed. After the upgrade, I needed a new modem to take advantage of it. I had a CM1000 before and it's been great, so I got this CM3000 to replace it. Upload speed has significantly improved, to the extend Xfinity offers in the plan anyway. Also...
