WiFi Coverage Worse Than Expected
I purchased this router, hoping it would be an upgrade from my Netgear XR1000. With the RS200 advertising 2,500 sq.ft of coverage (same as XR1000) but with WiFi 7 instead of WiFi 6 - I was expecting to see some speed performance enhancements - only to find that the range of the RS200 to have SIGNIFICANTLY worse coverage than the XR1000 (which was released 4 years earlie...

It was difficult to set up. Downloaded app; began the process by unplugging old router. But without internet, how can use the app? No printed instructions; the device just didn't go. 3 hours later, I had a work around using my laptop & cellphone.
It seemed that the first priority of the set up instructions was to sell a subscription.

Solid Router but could use some improvements
Fairly easy setup. Runs well but discovered an issue with buffering with streaming apps that didn’t occur with the old Nighthawk model it replaced. Was able to resolve it by disabling data monitoring per other owners prior experience. The extra services of the Armor really isn’t worth the money.

Receive router with good communication o shipping. Setup was very easy. My only hang up is the coverage. They state up to 3000 sq ft coverage. My home is an 1100 sqft house with a basement. Outstanding router
I replaced a 10 yr old Netgear router. WOW. My WiFi speed doubled and no dead spots in my 3000 sq. ft. home. Very easy to install: no connection issues. I would recommend to a friend.

When I got an email that my old Nighthawk router was no longer going to be updated, and Netgear suggested the RS700S, I was excited to upgrade. Unfortunately, it's not any better.There is no less buffering with my TV's, and now my garage door won't connect to my internet.This has been a very frustrating switch

Decent router, easy to configure. WiFi signal strength is not nearly as strong as advertised I have a small house. It on the other side I only get 1- 2 bars where the generic netgear from gonet would reach outside to my hammock lol
