Excellent router
Easy to setup, drastically improved my internet connection speed. Don't wait until your router is no longer supported to get a new one, worth the $$$. Make the most out of your connection speeds

Investigate before purchasing! I thought I did a good job before purchasing, but nothing automatically connected. I had to re-install our printer, all TV's, security cameras, etc. Still can't connect to one of my cameras. Solar panels haven't reported since install of new router. Apparently I have to have ethernet extenders now. I thought this would give me better...

Not Quite made in America
Ridiculously over priced for an object they have planned for obsolescence. The last one was 1/5th the price and the support stopped after 4 years

I like unit but wish it was had more backward compatibility
The bad news neither of my Nest cameras worked. I would wish backward compatibility. I had to buy new cameras.

My router was stolen off of my doorstep. I am a senior citizen. Do you have a discount program?

Internet keeps cutting off
Ever since I bought this new one, the internet has been cutting on and off every minute or two and I cannot handle this stupid device anymore. I don't know if they give me a used or broken one, but I am returning this one.

Unstable WiFi Connections - Very Overpriced
Random drops and random band selections. My previous Netgear router performed more reliably. Skipped the horrible installation software and used the standard IP Gateway for setting everything up. That has improved but not by much. Netgear is just outdated and way overpriced.

It’s OK, not as good as I thought it was going to be
I upgraded our last Nighthawk router with this one as it’s supposed to cover more square footage.
I got one that should cover at least 2000 ft.², and my house is only 1600 ft.². I still have issues with low signal strength towards the back of my house. That also could be where the router is located however, that is the only place that I can put it as it’s connected to ...

Ok
While the Nighthawk is working as it should. I believe it’s not any faster than the last Netgear WiFi system we had. Also I do not like the fact that you have to pay extra for services like parental controls and upgrades in privacy that elsewhere I can get free. I think next time I will have to shop other places to upgrade my home WiFi network

Slow
This router is replacing an older model that you made me replace. It's a mystery how the new router is slower than death while the old one which has the same settings and capacity was running just fine.

Great router, unless the U.S. government forbids its upgrade next year
I really like the speed and features of my new RS700S router. However, if the U.S. government forbids it being updated after 2027 merely because it was made in Viet Nam, I'll become very unhappy, as my entire reason for upgrading was that my previous Nighthawk router will no longer receive updates after May of this year, and I chose the top of the line RS700S precisely ...

Netgear RS200
My previous routers were a nightmare to install. The Netgear phone app made the installation very easy. Changing the SSID and password to that of my old router obviated the need to manually install my new router on each device. The entire process was very smooth and much better than expected.

Idiotic setup process
The process you have for setting up the router is idiotic. That is putting it nicely. There is no need for an APP. It should be optional. I had to reset my router because I put the app in the background and it reset the timer. Then it wouldnt load up where it left off. Had to restart so many times cause of errors. Really just a crappy product honestly. Now your email yo...

Nighthawk sucks
Cannon get my camera to connect to wife using Nighthawk app. Cameras require 2.4 connections. Nighthawk has a smart setting that determines the proper setting, 2.4 vs 5.0 but won't connect to my camera. Nighthawk app sucks
