Allows set of different shaped plugs
The placement of the outlets allows different configurations of regular and transformer plugins. I have it on my computer desk with computer, monitor, printer, speakers, phone charger, pencil sharpener and 2 LED lights. They have different shaped plugs. I got the whole set to work including computer USB ports for mouse and other equipment.
