Refurbished machine working great so far!
The machine works great. I had a little trouble getting setup but once it connected it was exactly what I needed for scanning art.

Epson should put these back into production
The original software is far superior than typical off the shelf assortments. The motor sounds really smooth. It uses a real CCD in the scan bed rather than the lessor alternate methods. I haven't tested the transparency option yet but I'm sure it is adequate or better. So far so good.

Excellent
I used the Epson Perfection V600 (Refurbished) mainly for scanning my film negatives and the results were excellent. The scanner captures great detail and restores the images beautifully. It’s a perfect choice for anyone looking to digitize negatives with high quality.

These are hard to come by in any form. It's a shame this entire line has been discontinued from Epson due to a part no longer being made in China. Replacements out there are almost nil & beyond a lot of budgets. I was very lucky to grab this one when it came up on Staples site. Excellent Scanner ICE Technology is a Game Changer
I'm really impressed with the Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner - Certified Renewed. The ICE technology absolutely amazed me — it saved me so much time that I would have otherwise spent editing dust and scratches out of old photos in Photoshop. It works like magic!

Overall, a good but complicated scanner
I got this primarily for its ability to scan negatives. I have discovered that, unfortunately, some of the negatives I have are very old and larger than the capabilities of the scanner. As good as new
Even though the scanner was not in its original package, it was under fully protection and worked so well. So far my scanner worked perfectly and smoothly. I’m satisfied with my purchase.
