Good build
Good fun to complete this challenge.

Lots of intricate pieces to place so you have to look very carefully at the instructions.

An overall amazing product.

Not for Lego archticeture fans
My rating is initiated as a fan of the very nice and famous Lego architecture series. Normally I'm expecting very detailed models of famous or extraordinary facilities including an introduction in their architecture.
Contrary to my expectations is Lego New York City only like a very rough overview or introduction and couldn't fit my standards.
So from my point of it i...

An interesting build.
As an eraly (2016) set in the Architecture series, I was pleasantly surprised at the building techniques used. While some other iconic buildings could have been featured such as the U.N. Building, Brooklyn Bridge, and Central Park, Madison Square Garden, or Union Station - given the space limitations this set does justice. And one can always tap into creativity to expan...

Great product, but confusing instruction's
As a long time Lego Builder I loved the Architecture line for a while. I had been waiting for this to set to come back in stock and grabbed it at the closest local LEGO store in NYC. Upon opening the box and taking everything out. The bags are not numbered. You are supposed to rip the bags open like a mad man and just start building with the book. You have to really sea...

Simple and Fun Build
Firstly, let me just say that the reviews that claim there are design flaws in this set are not accurate. If you follow the instructions this is a simple to build kit that is solidly build.
I enjoyed building this as it didn't take long and the end result is unmistakably the New York skyline. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because it is a bit pricey and...

Both good and bad
The set itself looks great when built however building is where the issue lays, the bags aren’t numbered which makes the building process awful, you basically have to empty all bags out across a big surface to actually build this. Whoever thought this was a good idea to not use numbered bags clearly didn’t actually try to build this which is a shame as the set shows off...

First Architecture Set
I have been spending a lot of time building/playing with Lego with our children. However, building Lego with small children, though rewarding in its own way, is not relaxing. That is why I decided to try this set out myself, without the kid's help. Overall, I enjoyed this set, but I do have several issues and items I can share for those contemplating trying out the Arch...

Incredible Set!
I used to be all about minifigures when it came to LEGO until I got the Statue of Liberty architecture set. Now I love the architecture series, and this set is a great addition! Totally worth the hour it took to build. There was one mistake I found but others have addressed it so I won't go into detail. I think it would be epic to see a full-scale World Trade Center set...

New York landmarks
There should be one for all major cities and it’s a shame some of the ones I’d like have been retired e.g. Venice, Berlin. Saying that these are nice small builds showcasing key iconic landmarks. Only thing missing is maybe a Brooklyn Bridge like the London and San Francisco ones.

Pieces could have been packaged better
I purchased this set as a gift to my niece and we realized immediately that this set was going to be challenging to put together. I think the biggest complaint is that the pieces were in all different bags instead of packaged by each section (like other sets we've put together) which caused a lot of questions to make sure we were using the correct pieces to construct th...

Great
I bought this as a gift for a family member.
Based on my experience with the LEGO architecture range, they are great builds and representations of what they are meant to depict.
I recommend this type of set for anyone who is naturally a fan of LEGO and of architecture and or nostalgia.
I also believe it is a nice way to introduce someone into LEGO that may think LEGO is...
