Great build for any F1 fan
I really enjoyed the build, the push rod suspension was really well implemented, the design was very much in tune with the real car, being a huge F1 fan this was a must, a fairly quick build but the end product looks awesome.

Why so many missing parts?
I’ve purchased around 30 sets in the last 2 years and this is one of the only sets I’ve ever had with multiple missing parts.
LEGO says a couple weeks for delivery but also says on their site it could take up to a month. As I move along the build I’m worried I’ll keep finding missing parts and won’t finish until summer, fingers crossed.

Fun build
A very relaxing, technical build; varying in complexity from large structure pieces to small complex subassemblies. Livery decals are as close as possible to the real thing in terms of design without being ultra realistic for any particular point in time. They are easy to apply and blend in almost like paint. Wow, lots of decals and fun
Great set, good addition to the F1 lineup. Not as complex as larger cars but fun and time fulfilling. And wow, lots of decals, get your tweezers ready! Have fun!

Excellent for f1 fans
A rather quick build, with intriguing and amazing functions like the working pull rod suspension and the moving engine. My one wish would be for this to have slick tires, but the end product is still amazing.

Great build, but..
Really enjoyed the build and would recommend. Alignment of stickers created some OCD issues ha ha. Only negative, after a year it seems the front suspension has now sagged as the car scrapes when moved.
I also have the Mercedes F1 Lego and really hope they release more of these!!

McLaren F1 Build
Overall a fantastic experience that took my 13 year old 5 days to build. He’s a huge McLaren fan and was totally chuffed with the results. Instructions were super clear and precise.

Great build but the suspension is faulty
This is a fabulous effort from Lego for an F1 car. But beware, after a period of time you'll find the springs in the build cannot support the weight of the car and the bottom of the car will eventually come to rest on the surface it sits on. Hopefully they have rectified this issue with the new Mercedes F1 build.

One on the best sets
This has to be one of the best. the Display is absolutely perfect. 100% recommended for f1 fans. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!!

Too many stickers
I dropped a sticker in the instructions booklet and both the sticker and instruction booklet are ruined.

Beautiful on the shelf, robust structure,fun build
As the title says, it's one of the most impressive lego technic sets *for the money*Imo. No problems building it, and the end result is stunning.
