Go Team NZ
I havent followed the America's Cup for over a decade, but since I am a Kiwi, I felt I had to have this. I too got to the end of the build and wondered what all the pistons and cogs I had just put in, were for. Had to look on line and watch a video, which was still a bit vague, to realize you have to wind the crank handle to build up pressure, then twist the front stand...

Pneumatics?
I follow sailboat racing, so was excited for this. The build was fun, but I am extremely confused about the use of pneumatics here, as the valve switches are completely inaccessible once finished. I've gone through the instructions several times and have no random leftover parts. Are they included simply as a "hidden" feature? If so, that's a needless price inflation, a...

A handful!
I’m not a super experienced LEGO builder, but I’ve built a number of complicated kits and I’m also a very advanced plastic model builder. I can say, unequivocally, that this was the most difficult LEGO set I’ve ever built! It fought me all along the process. Sometimes, none of directions made much sense as it wasn’t really obvious. It took awhile in the process before i...

Challenging and rewarding
I really enjoyed the build and the result.
Disappointed that the pneumatic controls are not accessible once the build is complete. This makes the playability score very low.
Otherwise a very nice trophy for my shelf.

Excellent Set for Yachting LEGO fans
Received this super set as a ‘surprise’ Christmas present. (This was on my wish list from last year when it was released) I’m an avid sailor and follower of Americas Cup, Vendee Globe and other major sailing events.
It was a superb build and looks absolutely stunning and beautiful.
The only small observation/comment I would make for the Jib/Headsail is that the OMEGA na...

Great build
This was my first Technics build..
Was a bit daunted at first, but as I progressed, it all made sense.
Everything worked as expected and has become a talking point t when people visit..
Highly recommended

Missing pieces..... 🥺
I am so bummed out that my Lego yacht is missing pieces. 😠I was really excited about building this Lego masterpiece but I quickly realized that it's missing some pieces and I cannot go forward without them. So much excitement wasted!

Disappointed
Bought 2, one to build one to collect in the box. Both packages were damaged and I didn't expect this from Lego, I kept the least damaged one in the box and built the other..........

Absolutely loved this build
I'm a fan of the America's Cup, as well as Pete and the rest of the ETNZ crew so when this set was introduced it was a no-brainer purchase. The build was very enjoyable, and while some of the steps were a little challenging (big fingers, small parts?) I don't really have any complaints. I'm still playing with the sail trimming functions and the pneumatic foil cant syste...

Interesting and detailed
The set was really fun to build. The build was complex and interesting. All of the functions work as they should. I saw a review on here where someone said the switches to the pneumatics are hidden once you build it and it's inaccessible. You don't access the switches on the pneumatics you use the red pieces at the bottom of the stand to flip the switches.

Fun on the learning curve
This is my second Technic build and my first using pneumatics. Instructions were easy to follow, and the build was challenging enough that I felt as if I was learning a lot. My initial test of the completed pneumatic circuit didn't work, but that was because the control levers were in the central position. Once I moved those, the raising and lowering of the foils worked...
