Amazing build
As soon as I saw this being the next 1/8 technic car, I had to get it right away. This was perfect to add to my 1/8 car collection (sadly I don’t have the Bugatti Chiron). Fine model, but 6/7 speeds worked
The first gear was a cracking sound once I pushed the car when the wheels roll, 6 of the gears worked perfectly and smoothly on hybrid mode, but the 1st gear makes a creaking sound when I push or pull it. Maybe we recommend this set if it is a beatiful set and also play functions worked well.

Perfectly splendid
I would choose this experience again without hesitation. The building process was thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. Beautiful build
The complexity and design was better than the previous super cars. The best part was NO STICKERS! I’m hoping the next supercar will be a purple to complete the color spectrum!

great set
With a 16-hour build, it was definitely worth the money. Since this is a larger set, I had to purchase a few other Technic sets before getting this one. However, after building the two 1:8 bikes, Ducati and BMW, I decided to get this set and was very happy with my purchase. I made way fewer mistakes than I thought I would, to be honest, so overall, it was a fun build.

Amazing product
I heard 450$ I thought, there is zero way it’s worth it. Until I got it and finished tonight. Absolutely amazing product and definitely worth 450 dollars every two years. Insane insider points too. I was shocked to find out every Lego P1 has its own serial number! Only thing I had trouble on was building the gearbox and that’s my own fault for being so intrigued to move...

SUPER DOPE!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SET!
One problem - and this seems to happen more frequently with the missing pieces. I needed one of the wing pieces ( number 6) for the butterfly door. It wasn’t in the box. Thankfully, by some miracle, my local LEGO store had the piece!!!
But seriously, for almost $500 quality control should be top of the list.

Overall a very good set. A few pros and cons. Pros: #1 Door hinge mechanism is very cool. Big upgrade from 1/8 Chiron and Sian. #2 Rear wing lift system. I much prefer this compared to the "key" that is needed on other 1/8 scale cars. Incredible only way to describe this kit
It's incredible to go through each step as you build the Mclaren P1 - from the engineering to aesthetics this kit has it all. At times it was challenging but kept me engaged throughout the whole build. love that it had printed on logos (Never been a fan of stickers).

Not too bad
The car itself was bigger than i expected when i actually finished building it which is obviously good, but there are a lot of open spaces around the car, especially the rear end (which needs a lot of improvement). These super cars are expensive but you get what you pay for. top tier building experience, great display pieces, and really nice features such as the gearbox and doors. Definitely by favorite looking of the 3 1/8 cars still for sale.
