Very Disappointed
I was initially disappointed as I am a Lego vip and did not receive the McLaren sign that should have been included at the time of purchase as a special offer. It was an online purchase as I could not get to a store at the time due to recently having a hip replacement and I bought it to aid in my recovery. Beautiful set!
I love cars and racing/Formula 1, and found this set on clearance at a local retailer. What a beautiful set. The P1 and the Ferrari SF24, are just gorgeous sets, and great fun to build. The functionality is incredible, and the details really stand out. The only gripe is that it is very expensive at full price.

As a recent convert to Lego as a 65 year old hobbysist i finally decided to tackle one of the largest sets having practiced on smaller Technic sets and some Creator/Icon sets. Wheels
You see how everyone in the ‘fan moments’ only show the driver side. It’s because the passenger side wheels stick out far too much. Fix that. It’s a sports car not a monster truck

The Best 1:8 Car So Far...
A thoroughly enjoyable build but suffers from the same problem that I have encountered with all recent builds - They all suffer from an unnecessary proliferation of brightly coloured or contrasting grey parts (Both LBG & Dark Grey). Best build yet.
I have built all the super hypercars. The McLaren has been the most enjoyable to build. The smaller bag

Fine model, but 6/7 speeds worked
The first gear was a cracking sound once I pushed the car when the wheels roll, 6 of the gears worked perfectly and smoothly on hybrid mode, but the 1st gear makes a creaking sound when I push or pull it. Maybe we recommend this set if it is a beatiful set and also play functions worked well.

great set
With a 16-hour build, it was definitely worth the money. Since this is a larger set, I had to purchase a few other Technic sets before getting this one. However, after building the two 1:8 bikes, Ducati and BMW, I decided to get this set and was very happy with my purchase. I made way fewer mistakes than I thought I would, to be honest, so overall, it was a fun build.
