These are old stock!
The one I received was manufactured in April 2024 and is therefore 1.5 years old meaning that nearly half of its life is already gone. The production date is contained in the serial number on the box and on the QA test tag affixed to the device. Not acceptable and I am returning it.

These are old stock!
The one I received was manufactured in April 2024 and is therefore 1.5 years old meaning that nearly half of its life is already gone. The production date is contained in the serial number on the box and on the QA test tag affixed to the device. Not acceptable and I am returning it.

APC UPS - Been Buying APC for 40 years
Easy to follow set-up instructions. There was information about how to setup automatic PC shutdown if there is a power failure using 3rd party software. Connection cable from the UPS to the PC is included.

Works Great
If you actually plug the battery in like the sticker on the unit and instructions say to this thing works great! I'm not sure how so many people have claimed it's "DOA" and either missed this important information or failed to mention they indeed plugged the battery in.

Satisfied
First to address all the recent reviews before mine. These are NOT used/refurbished units. Every new APC UPS has the quality assurance test label attached to the side. Go look at some unboxing videos or online reviews at reputable sites. They all come with this label which is a good thing and means they tested it at the factory. I would be concerned if it does not come...

Refurbished or open box
The product box was re-taped. I requested a replacement and once again received an open box product.

Defective
First as other reviewers I received a used one not new as expected. Second it is overloaded with my TV which has the power consumption of 160W.

Used Refurbished and DOA
Thought I orderd a new one but received a re-taped box with a device with piece of paper taped on the side that said passed all inspections? Sent it back and hope to get a refund.

Do not buy. It is used product and DOA
Do not buy this. This is clearly a used product and was dead on arrival. This is supposed to be a new item. There was a piece of paper in the product that stated it did quality check for a used product. Product did not work. Just kept beeping which is usually what happens at the end of the life for an APC.

BE600M1 good value for small loads
The APC BE600M1 is a good value for lighter loads. In our case we were seeking a backup for the network gear to get it through short power outages. It works great for that target function.

Works great
I bought 3 of these for our office computers. They work great and the setup was quick and easy with the PowerChute software. If the power goes out or surges now the users have time to save what they were working on and shutdown.
