Perfect for your gaming room
Nice and easy build. Going to look great in the “gaming loft” with the Nintendo console. Wish I’d ordered with bonus turtle shell to complement it.
Nice easy build. Wish they’d offer Bowser who I always played as. Wife played as Princess Peach. Be interesting to see if they offer more options in the future.

Nightmare to Build
Just want to say first, I’m a big fan of Lego so this criticism comes from someone who cares — but this was a NIGHTMARE to build! So many parts of the set are held together by barely any studs, which causes it to fall apart as you’re building. As I fix one section, another piece falls off on the other side! Lego needs to fix this where the sets they put out actually sti...

Buy this set!
I am so happy I bought this, but I wish I bought it with the GWP. I also wish that Mario was able to stand outside of his kart. Maybe we can get some new drivers/karts?

Constantly falls apart
This could’ve been such a good build. I loved building the kart. But Mario was terrible. He just falls apart.

Amazing set!!
I bought this on sale, and it's brilliant. The building techniques are genius! No stickers either, so great display piece along side my Lego Game Boy and Nintedo NES. 100% recomend this set.

One word; NOSTALGIA
Opening this was my childhood Christmas all over again. If you grew up playing Mario Kart then this is the PERFECT set! Smiled the whole time building this one. Worth every penny !

Overall Fun
I enjoyed this build for the most part. I felt like some of the steps should have been done in a different order, but that's my only "issue". It went together well, it looks good, it feels good.

Horrible
This is by far the worst Lego we've ever purchased. It keeps falling apart especially when you're working on Mario's head. Had to start using glue and that didn't even work!! Stay away from this

great set worth picking up
I have built a lot of LEGO sets, and this is by far one of my favorite builds. Between the cool building techniques and the awesome result, this set is a great purchase. It also pairs well with previous Mario sets.

What a great looking piece
Living in a Mario Kart family, this piece is perfect for our entertainment center display for our living room. It was a blast to build. We even put his smile upside down, and switched his eyes. It was funny to see people's reaction before we put everything back to where it belonged.

Fun to build and play with!

AWESOME Mario design!
I LOVE this set! I think the engineering of this design is flawless; all of the corners and edges are smooth and seamless, especially on Mario! A little pricey but a great set!
