needless waste of my time to resolve warranty issu
Originally purchased unit from a general distributor. The product did not work as it should. Spent months trying to get that resolved. The process was gruesome and useless.

Love the battery start feature and built-in Charge
We have not had a chance to use the new generator for fortunately, but winter is coming. We feel so sure that we picked the best generator on the market and our very secure in the knowledge that it will take care of us when we need it.

Great for an emergency
Although I only bought the generator a couple of months ago and have tested it once every month it seems to be fine .
I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet for an emergency.

Great features.
I bought this one, it served me well during these power outages they have here in Tennessee. Powered my fridge, two bedrooms ( t/v's and boxes), electric fire places. Filled it up at night, it would run all night. (8+ hours). It served me well.

Great generator
I recently got this Generac Power Systems GP5500 Single Fuel 50 ST generator and am very pleased with it so far. It is very easy to operate, especially with turning it on. It provides very reliable power throughout the time that I had it on. It also is easy to store as it’s not too big.

Very Frustrated
I bought this tri-fuel model expecting to run it with Natural Gas. When I connect it to either NG or LPG, and switch the fuel selector knob no fuel gets to the cylinder. It will run on Gasoline only. The corporate service department has been no help. They suggested I take it to their closest franchise dealer (in the next county) but it's too heavy to transport myself...

Very fancy!!

Dependable generator
Took our new generator to deer camp this weekend and wow what an incredible generator. It is the perfect size for what we needed. Easy to move around and transport, not overly heavy. Works as it should.
This was a warranty replacement for my 3300. I removed and applied thread lock compound to all the fasteners because of the previous generator failure. This new one works as it should. I don't like the handle because it collapses when trying to push generator backwards.

Easy to Start. Easy to Use.
Out of the box assembly was fairly easy. I am not crazy about the design and setup of the handle. It's awkward and flimsy. However the frame is sturdy and durable. The two wheels make it very mobile. The controls are clearly labeled and makes it simple to use.

Highly recommend
This generator works great! Has a long battery life too which is incredible. Easy to use and start thankfully. It has a lot of power to it. Also has wheels to move around which is great because it’s heavy otherwise.

Great for moms when the husband is working the roa
We absolutely love this Generac. Assembly took 20 minutes mostly because yes it is heavy. However, the wheels and handle are handier than a shirt pocket and make it so easy to move!
