electric star is a bonus
replaced my old generator with Generac 6700, i wanted electric start with multi fuel, this fits my needs, very happy with purchase and has worked well.

Great quality
The Generac generator that I purchased for our fiber splicing trailer has been great. We haven't had any issues thus far. It is easy to start and starts quickly even in cold weather. It is very quite compared to most others and the gas usage is very minimal. We are more than pleased with our Generac!

Great Generator!!! So grateful for it!!
Wonderful generator! Heavy duty. Gas fueled. Works great and cost effective. The only downside is that it’s very heavy and you need more than one very strong person for initial set up or to even move it and put it together!

Big and durable
It’s been very cold in Wisconsin so I did not have the time to assemble the generator onto its wheels, but I will get to that soon and update my review if needed! This is a very sturdy, powerful and durable piece of machinery. I’m happy to have this for peace of mind if we were to need to use a generator!

Amazing Generator!
Generac Power Systems GP4000 Dual Fuel 49 ST Portable Generator works amazingly well. We have power outages a lot where we live, especially in winter with all the rainstorms, so this has already come in handy a few times. Better safe than sorry!
This generac generator is perfect for our needs and I'm glad we have it! Fortunately, we have not had to run it for an extended period of time since receiving; however, test runs have been successful and it seems like it will work efficiently and as expected for when we need it to run for hours.

Awesome well built generator!
This is such an awesome generator!! Just the quality of it is immensely high quality. It is definitely heavy, it did take 3 people to get it up stairs. However, once the handle and wheels are installed it’s much easier to handle and move. The controls are nice and not too complex once you read the instructions. Its fantastic for camping!

Lifesaver

Best essential generator for living in the south

Lower noise level than other generator and simple
Very easy to assemble and to wheel around. Weighted over 200 lbs so it was a challenge to move the whole box. Works great and low noise. Full tank can go about 10 hrs of run time and I’m happy with that. Easy plug in and use.

Good in a pinch!
This portable generator will work in a pinch if there is a power outage. It’s easy to use, easy to move, and has enough output to power most appliances. Buyers should understand that generator won’t be able to power multiple major appliances, but you can power a refrigerator or freezer just fine!

I’m sold on this generator
If you want a generator that’s strong, reliable, and not hard to figure out, the Generac GP5500 is a great choice. I was scared of this generator at first. I am glad to have it for power outages and outdoor use, and it really delivered. With a bit of help I was able to get it up and running. Let’s talk about the pros and cons and why it may be a good choice for you.

needless waste of my time to resolve warranty issu
Originally purchased unit from a general distributor. The product did not work as it should. Spent months trying to get that resolved. The process was gruesome and useless.
