I purchased this machine a short while ago and I am so glad I did. It works wonders on my tiled floors. Very easy to operate leaving no smear marks. Can’t fault the design and the technology is just great. I have recommended to my friends.

Don’t recommend
I don’t like it at all and only use for minor spills. I still have to vacuum first because otherwise it is a nightmare to clean, and it doesn’t get into corners so easier to just go back to my normal vacuum and steam mop. Waste of money!

A bit complicated to use and fiddly to assemble
I’ve used a few products trying to get an efficient, no-input-from-me solid floor cleaner, they never live up to the hype and a simple mop and bucket beats them all.
Looks stylish but is all fur coat and no knickers, the menu system is not intuitive, there’s only one programme anyone is interested in mr Dyson: max water, max suction and an on button.

Okay product.
It is ok. Does not really get into corners and if there are light marks on the floor, it does not clean them off.

Great product
I bought this product after having a shoulder operation which seen me in a shoulder immobiliser for 8 weeks. I needed a way to wash my floors with one arm. It is amazing, so easy to use, cleans the floor really well & the cleaning which a lot of people whinge about isn’t an issue. I would really recommend this product. Cleans so well.

Best item bought
I have had my Dyson washG1 for 4 months now and it is the best household item we have ever bought. I gave white gloss tiles from front door to back of house and for someone with sore back , I can do the whole area in no more than 15 min, no aching of back - near glides in your hand and picks up everything . We have a Rottweiler pup and 2 cats so a lot of fluff

To messy cleaning rollers and tray
I so wanted this item to clean my floors well but to be honest disappointed to fidderly to keep cleaning the rollers & tray , have had many dysons but on this product no so happy .

Best choice for timber floor
I never knew my floor was that dirty until I bought Dyson G1. but need to be careful with choosing the right detergent.

Disappointing with Mould Smells + Messy to Clean
The product unfortunately is totally FLAWED. There is no auto roller drying built into its cleaning function, so bad odours and mould smells develop and then can't be removed from the rollers.
It is an ABSOLUTE PAIN to clean and really messy to pull everything apart to clean properly. And you have to do this every time after you use the cleaner.

Great cleaning power and easy to operate excepting removal of filter and cleaning of brushes requires effort and replacement of filter onto head can be tricky and requires effort which can be frustrating

The collection tray is so difficult to remove and replace I’ve stopped using my G1wash and I’ve had a replacement. I need to talk to someone about getting it looked at or the whole machine being returned. Other than the tray I was very happy with it but it is a shame it has spoit my experience

Great results from this device.
I have used and owned one of these now for about a year. I’m so impressed with its performance and so easy to use especially with a back issue. I’m so impressed with this device that I purchased another Dyson WashG1 for my family who are about to move into a new home with a lot of hard flooring.
