Don't believe the negative reviews!
I was hesistant to buy with all the bad reviews, but so glad that I did. I was using a Roomba i7+ so I am mostly comparing it to it. It does get lost occassionally, but no different than the Roomba. The cleaning is so much better. We have 70% carpeted surface with a golden retriever so I was more interested in cleaning and I am not disappointed. Carpets are fluffie...

It was the worst robot vacuum we ever purchased. It constantly got lost, went around in circles looking for the base. Dyson answer to this was to take things off the floor. There was nothing on the floor except some basic furniture. We took it back and purchased a robot vacuum at half the price and never gets lost and always finds the base.

Not effective without using the app
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it sure does pick up dirt better than my previous vacuums. However, my wife in not computer (app) literate and just wants to push a button on the vacuum and let it go. This vacuum is meant to be used on the app. The quick button is not very effective and the overall speed of the Dyson is very slow.

Vacuums Suck, and This One is King

Did not impress me
Unfortunately I had to return it as there were issues with suction and the battery life as compared to other counterparts. Its quick to move and easy to use but is not very efficient with cleaning. Hoping the new models will take the feedback and improve on it as there is some real good competition in the robo vacuum market.

Sucks, but not as intended
The Dyson suction is unrivaled, it does clean. However, the navigation on this SUCKS!! OMG! It gets lost no matter what. It runs into items that you have blocked to not go to in the mapping and zoning. It doesn't like to finish vacuuming zones, it just spins around and eventually goes back to the dock and completes vacuuming.

It’s OK but not at full price
This item is a solid 3 star but only when purchased at the 500 dollar price that I paid (hence why I gave it two stars) Suction power seems to be fairly good but it’s about the only thing it does well. Needs work
I'm finding it doesn't get up tight to the walls. It also doesn't return to base when the battery gets low. I usually have to hunt around the house to find where it finished.

keeps getting stuck on simple objects like grates
I bought this about a month ago, when I tried to map or run it, it constantly gets stuck on furnace grates and stops and gives a tip alarm. Any area rugs or furnace grates or anything that sticks up the slightest bit it can not deal with it. I would love to resolve this issue and generally like dyson products but as it stands this thing is useless

Mapping is VERY difficult
