When an edge is detected, the headlights will illuminate on the side where the edge is sensed to help focus cleaning on targeted debris. Features like Edge Detect, Floor Detect, Dirt Detect, Direction Detect, and DuoClean Detect are designed to boost pickup, especially in homes with lots of pet hair. The included pet‑focused tools, such as the Pet Multi‑Tool and Motorized Pet Tool, may also help remove embedded hair and debris more efficiently.
