Worst Vacuum ever
I have always lived Shark vacuums, until I got this one. I absolutely HATE it, as does my husband! It is so much work, heavy to move, constantly going on and off, not good on rugs, rolls up the pet hair,etc. etc. I would not recruit for anyone! It is definitely a piece of crap!! Worst vacuum I have ever had in my life!

Difficult to Manage

Never going back to the “other” guy

Terrible design for buttons on handle
I have had this vacuum for several years now. It is a great vacuum and has powerful suction. The reason forbthe 3 stars is the touch buttons on the handle sucks! If your hand barely touches one it changes the setting. I have to constantly keep changing it back to where it needs to be. Its worse when you clean a vehicle. And the hose is to short and stiff. Pops Breakers
I bought this about a month ago and the suction is great; However, it pops breakers all over the house. I can only use it in a couple of areas. I previously had a Shark vacuum that was not a Powerdetect and never had any issues. The first troubleshooting item is about this problem, so it’s obviously an issue.

Not for pet hair!
This vacuum is no where as good as my Shark navigator was! I purchased this one and gave my navigator to my niece and it still sucks up hair just like it did when it was new! Great vacuum, horrible power cord
The vacuum itself is great. Powerful, nice control. The problem with the vaccum is the power cord. It is stiff and hard to use. It gets caught on furniture. it's heavy and quite frankly makes me want to return the vacuum its so bad. This is not my first shark vacuum. Why did you have to change the cord?

Too heavy for anyone and not the best Shark!
We bought this a few months ago. I’ve used it 3 times. First, it’s too heavy for the regular person and especially those with light disabilities!!! Love my vacuum!!!
I have had this vacuum for several months now. We have 3 Great Danes and have dog hair everywhere!!! It does a good job of picking up the dog hair. We vacuum almost daily in my house. Awesome with thick carpets
I really love how it cleans my thick carpet. We have family members who visit with their dog and I am amazed on the amount of hair that is left in the carpet. It picks up the dog hair and all our fine dust like nothing else I have. It cleans great. The only problem I have is that is heavier than I wanted. I would highly recommend this vacuum. I like the longer cord.

Worse vacuum ever
For the amount that this costs, this is an ill made product. The handle detaches on its own and won’t sit back into its position. Even after emptying the canister, which shouldn’t affect the handle at all, it slips out and I can’t use the push/upright feature.

To powerful for washable rugs and too heavy
My husband bought this vacuum for me for xmas. He thought it would be a great vacuum, but he doesn't vacuum!

If the vacuum is pulling, lifting, or sticking to your washable rugs, please try this adjustment: Press the power button to turn on the vacuum, then tap the Hard Floor icon on the touchscreen located on the handle. After that, tilt the handle back while gently stepping on the floor nozzle. The brushroll will rotate more slowly in this mode, which usually makes rugs much easier to vacuum.
