It’s clear that you’ve always relied on Shark vacuums and expect them to work well throughout your home, so running into challenges with suction on your rugs and the overall weight of this model can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re trying to make it work across multiple surfaces. If the vacuum is pulling, lifting, or sticking to your washable rugs, please try this adjustment: Press the power button to turn on the vacuum, then tap the Hard Floor icon on the touchscreen located on the handle. After that, tilt the handle back while gently stepping on the floor nozzle. The brushroll will rotate more slowly in this mode, which usually makes rugs much easier to vacuum.
