My Shark Rotator is an awesome vacuum cleaner!
Much better than my Dyson Animal. The Dyson brush bar would stop spinning after two minutes. Although it is true that it did not lose suction, it would clog - ALOT. Trying to unclog a Dyson is like doing surgery. I finally purchased the Shark Rotator with "Powerfins". Horrible
If there was a 0 star I would rate that. My husband bought me this for Christmas so I’ve used it for 3 weeks. It won’t even suck up a piece of cat food. I’ve never liked shark products compared to bissell but this was seriously disappointing if he can find the receipt I’ll be taking it back if not lesson learned. HairPro means no more cutting hair off the brush
I’ve had this vac for 3 years now and every time I use it I am reminded how wonderful the HairPro is. I haven’t had to clean the brush since I bought the machine. I had to cut the hair off my old vac after every use. I have very, long thinning hair. So why not 5*? I’m not thrilled with the handle release. And I bought several attachments to do special jobs.

low suction
Purchased this in July 2024 with protection plan. good about a year . Low suction now and I've tried everything. my home is not a hard place to vacuum but this product is useless. I have tried to replace filters and get help with my Allstate protection plan, good till 2028 but no avail. Not a satisfied customer. Never buy one again.

Awesome products
Bought this vacuum for my wife and I love it as much as she does. It's worth every penny and does an amazing job on pet hair. I'm a GSd owner and if you know the breed you know they are hairy. It is amazing for the hair control. Thank you shark love your products

Do not buy!
I purchased this vacuum back in March, and I had to have it replaced within 3 months because the roller wasn't working. It was working okay for a few months, and now the roller has stopped working again. It cannot keep up with big dogs I guess. We have a newfoundland that doesn't even keep a full coat. I expect so much more from Shark! My previous vacuum lasted 10+...

Not worth the money. Quit working
Quit working around the two year mark. No clogs, kept clean. Just stopped. I expected more from shark.

Look for a better vacuum
I bought this Shark a few weeks ago, and am VERY disappointed in its performance, it does not pick up or clean the rugs in my house very well.My old Shark worked MUCH better. I wish I never bought this Shark.

Not a very good vacumm cleaner
We purchased this vacuum cleaner on 10/09 2025 I have used it just a couple of times, and do not like it at all, our old shark performance lift away has way more suction than this one is a lot quieter and we would not have bought this one if the bottom part wouldn't just drop when you go to pack it around personally I would return this one in a heartbeat for a replacem...

Every Pet Owner Needs One Of These!
Amazing vacuum. I can not believe the difference on how well the roller paddle works versus a roller brush! This vacuum does an outstanding job at picking up dog hair! Picks up dirt well.
We have a Shark Rotator Pet Upright Vacuum with PowerFins HairPro and Odor Neutralizer Technology and it is working well. It picks up more dirt than our older Dyson model. This model is on the heavy side so my wife was not a fan of that aspect.

Superb bang for the buck
Love this vacuum. Super easy assembly. Great value. Significant improvement over my Dyson DC50 which it replaced. Not great at getting under things like the bed but the attachments and the long extension hose help albeit somewhat more difficult. The powerfins do great with my golden retriever's pet hair. The closed system and odor neutralizer eliminate musky smells.

Beware of fake 5 star reviews by people.
I bought this because of all of the positive reviews but it does not hold up to expectations.
Almost every positive review on this site is from someone who received the product for free.
The design is not good at all, the canister gets clogged in the middle of the canister very easily by pet hair.

Needs a longer cord
This is my second shark vacuum. I love them. This one lost a star because the cord is at least a foot or two shorter than the last shark vacuum and drives me bonkers.
