I've never had cleaner air!
Just the fact that this filter doesn't need replacing for five years, is an absolute win! Both the unit and filter are large in size but so is its range of fourteen hundred square feet. Well-worth the investment.
I've had this air purifier for a couple of days and inadvertently put it to the test. I have a wood stove in the same room as the purifier. I made a fire in the stove that didn't quite get going right away and I needed to open the door to shir the fire. Upon opening the stove door, smoke billowed into the room. Exactly what I expected.
It works as intended. I'm using it in my master bedroom suite. I like that the remote control from my previous shark he401 works with it. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are expecting it to do. The only issue I have, is the sensor on this model and my previous he401 model react to my humidifier in the winter.

Love this air purifier!
I did not think this was going to be as good as it turned out! The air quality in my house is GREAT! Just set it on AUTO and it cleans the air as needed. I even noticed better sleep and not waking up in the morning all stuffed up. This is a great unit, I purchased one for up stairs and down stairs. VERY IMPRESSED!

Feel the same as Aussmom below.
Just as Aussmom said... there is no pet hair and my house remains dusty. I have 2 that cover 1400 in a 1400 sq ft house. The furniture within reach of the unit has a dust layer. Pricey, but very useful
We have had this model for several months. The volume of pet hair and dirt it catches is staggering. We just purchased another for another room and a smaller one for the bedroom. Very satisfied.

Don't buy this one.
I have the large size in my living room. It picks up all the cooking smells and cleans them away. No issues. I have the smaller one in the room with my litter boxes. It does absolutely nothing. Says the air is 100% all the time. The room is no bigger than a closet. I had it in my master bedroom first and it did nothing for the dust. Smaller one needs work.

0% Air Quality (3rd Air Purifier in a year)
I'm on my 2nd replacement one after the first two broke within 3 months of using it. The air quality percentage gets stuck at 0% and there is nothing you can do to fix it besides using the warranty. Replacement Shark Air Purifier
This Air Purifier Max was a replacement for a prior air purifier purchase that the air sensor became defective. Shark replaced my air purifier under warranty with a better HP302 model. It was received very quickly and is working Great. I highly recommend Shark products and specifically their Air Purifier Max HP302. They stand behind their products.

Over-rated and over priced
The bottom part keeps coming off. I dont feel the difference 😕 I have a different air purifier and cheaper brand from Amazon that better than this. I have pets. This is just a waste. I see the dust all over my room and change the air purifier and notice the difference the shark does not work for the small room

Quality Air Purifier
Used a couple weeks now and can tell a difference in dust after seeing difference in what I was emptying from Shark robot vacuum, and A/C filter. Really like the pre-filter design. Air quality sensor is amazing, super sensitive/accurate

Instructions Could Be Better
Just bought this as a recommendation from a friend. Set-up instructions were easy; however, it only came with 1 page and nothing about the control panel settings. Love my Air Purifier
So happy with this product. It has cleared our air. I had burnt just a little bit of my toast, and right away, the Shark got to cleaning our air ! We have a cat, and it seems to have cleared that smell as well.

Excellent air quality
Excellent air purifier for clean air. It constantly checks the air quality and turns itself on and off when it is set to auto mode. It is also pretty quiet for the amount of air it cleans. The main hepa filter lasts for 5 years. Hopefully it doesn’t cost too much when it needs to be changed. However the two side filters need to be cleaned regularly.

Performs as Advertised!
We purchased the Shark air purifier as a replacement for one that did not perform very well. The Shark actually performs at a level that the advertisement claimed! It adjusts the level of air circulation automatically, It is super quiet and easy to maintain. We have been very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this product to friends.
