Do not buy if you want out-of-the-box quality
After following all the unboxing instructions, I was immediately disappointed when I put the first tank of water onto the main unit - rapidly formed leaks from where the tube from the tank interfaces with the main unit. I could not leave the tank attached for more that two minutes before my countertop became wet.

Do not buy if you want out-of-the-box quality

Disappointed
This is my 3rd machine, the others were replaced due to mechanical breakdown issues. This one does not make a good espresso. My other brands and older machines worked much better.

Failed after a year
Worked great and made amazing coffee for just over a year.
Now the power button blinks nonstop. I have had to stop using the grinder, it shoots coffee grinds everywhere. The drip tray is always full of fresh water, not sure where it is coming from.
The pressure is low and the coffee is not great

Great coffee machine
Easily the best home semi automatic coffee machine I've ever used. Very well built and is the quietest machine. Finally a machine that I can make coffee as good as a cafe.

Great product with a severe flaw
We really enjoy the product and it is very natural and easy to use. The only thing we don't like about it is that the water tank often leaks. We have to partially fill the tank and fill it without removing tank from the unit.

Overall good machine, faulty water reservoir
I absolutely love this espresso machine. It is efficient and quiet and easy to use. The handbook has easy ways to help you figure out if you are over/under extracting the espresso. However I would have given it 5 stars, but I have had complications with the original order as well as with this machine. There is some issue with the water reservoir sealing to the machine. ...

Leaking everywhere
This espresso machine has been leaking water all over the counter ever since I got it. Kitchen aid product help is impossible to get ahold of last time I called it was a 10 hour wait. Do not recommend this product.

Great look!
The design looks great on the counter — clean, modern, and solidly built. It’s also surprisingly easy to use. I'm not an experienced barista, but able to pull a good shot in a day. The controls are intuitive, the grinder settings are simple to adjust, and pulling a consistent shot doesn’t take much effort.

Quiet Grinder Shines, Steam Wand Issue Disappoints
I really enjoy this espresso machine. The grinder is impressively quiet—easily the quietest I’ve ever used—and that feature alone is worth five stars.
That said, I did start noticing a small but constant drip from the steam wand within the first two months. It only happens when the pump is running, but it’s persistent enough to be concerning.

Would give extra stars if possible ✨
After a month of nearly daily use, we're still in love with this thing. Easy to use, zero issues. Couldn't be happier! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Exceptional machine
I am in love with this machine! Once you figure out the proper grinding setting, temperature and which cup to use for a perfect cup, it makes the best coffee! Instructions are a bit vague, they could be little more detailed for the ones like me that went from a traditional drip coffee makers to this state of the art.

Great Coffee Machine
Great coffee machine from KitchenAid. Solid build, easy to use, and makes consistently good coffee. The size is perfect — compact enough for the bench but still feels substantial and well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Horrible
Third machine I received that was defective. First one just stopped working, second one the grinder wasn’t working correctly and third is leaking. Currently in the process of trying to return it and the process has been so frustrating. I’ve been on the phone with many reps- some helpful, some not and the issue is still unresolved.
