If I can ever find it in the stores
There is no other product like this in the world.. It's works like a charm dapping around erratically shaped trim mouldings.

Hard to Find
I like it because it only fills the cracks; it doesn't leave a bulky caulk line. Makes trim look better than if I hired a professional to paint.

Best of Five
I'm a retired contractor and have been buying caulking finishers for years. I recently gathered the ones I have (five) and "tested" one after the other on the same stretch of wall. I was skeptical of the modest Dap tool but gave it the same test. For the way I caulk the Dap Cap was easily the best - flexed to leave a tight caulk line, cleaned the easiest and lastly work...

Effective cap but little value as a tool
I give it three stars but I wouldn't buy it as a tool. As a cap it works effectively short term and long term however DAP recommends opened caulk be discarded after a couple of weeks. As a tool it is useless. Although there is nothing wrong with selling an aftermarket cap, DAP forces the issue by not providing caps for the tubes used in caulking guns. Shame on them. Not...

Thank you for posting your feedback. The DAP CAP is a one-piece injection molded plastic tool. One end of the tool functions as a cap used for resealing a cartridge tip/nozzle, it also functions as the "handle" that is held while using the opposite end of the tool for smoothing/tooling of caulk/sealant.
