Great features
I’ve only had my Dyson a couple of weeks and having had 3 or 4 Dyson the gen5detect is the best one I’ve had.

This is the worst Dyson I have ever had, it is top heavy which makes it hard to manoeuvre

Way too heavy!
I can’t believe Dyson made such an extremely HEAVY vacuum!!! Now my back hurts every time I use it!. I wish it was smaller just to keep the weight down. If it wasn’t for that I’d have given it 5 stars.

Brilliant on Ultra fine cat hair!
I have been looking for a vacuum that will really pick up very fine cat hair, after 2 purchases failed, finally decided to go with Dyson. Yes, they are more expensive, but boy, do they work. I was embarrassed by how many times I had to empty the catcher when I used it on the carpet for the first time! Wish I had brought this before I got the other ones. It is a bit heav...

Fabulous power & attachments
Purchased 3 weeks ago. Power & attachments outstanding plus the easy empty after my 7 year old Dyson, is a godsend. Love the well thought attachments & stand to house them all, very well thought out.

Fantastic Machine
Fantastic machine, we thought our house was clean till we had this Dyson, it shows up every bit of dust with the green light on the attachment, battery very good as well it lasts on auto about 45 mins which is great.
Dyson have come a long way from 25 years ago when we brought our very first Dyson, Great technology.

Love my new Dyson
Love my new Dyson, I can vacuum my whole house and the light on the brush shows all the dust. It works so well.my last Dyson still works and it is nine years old, I gave it to my granddaughter, Thank you for a great vacuum.

My Dyson, I LOVE it!
My Dyson was delivered last week and I am absolutely thrilled with it.
I thought my house was clean 😳 But my Dyson told me it wasn't.
After using it twice my floors are sparkling 😃👌
The attachments are fantastic, it is easy to move around and emptying the barrel is easy....

Absolute weapon of a vacuum
Great bit of kit, high price but from first use it got so much more out of a carpet that I've vacuumed lots of times before. Really well made from what I can see and easy to use.

Brush bar
It’s great, but the suction can be a little strong on certain carpet piles and when this happen the brush bar stops but it doesn’t restart when lifted off, you have to turn the machine off and on again which is annoying but it’s a small issue apart from that it’s great!

This Dyson Gen 5 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner was sent to us as a replacement to our Dyson V11 cleaner which had a faulty battery. The process was very well done and we now enjoy the new cleaner. This cleaner is a bit smaller and a bit lighter than the V11. It is quieter and very easy to use. We are very pleased with the process and the result.

A great purchase
I decided to upgrade my Dyson when I had parquet floors fitted. I’m really impressed with it’s performance. I love the laser light Small particle detector which works on small crumbs and dog hairs when used on a smooth floor. Its power and lightness Is great on the stairs. A happy purchase.

Hard to push
Ive had my machine just over a week. Doesn’t come with a manual had to download one. I couldn’t push the machine on the rug, kept stopping. I’ve never had a Dyson before and had to google why. There is a red slider on the motorised head you move to lessen suction or make it more. Manual didn’t say anything about slider either.

Far better clean
We thought our carpets and floors were clean before but this Dyson Gen5detect took it to a far better clean, evidence in the collection bin that was sucked up. Battery life is far better too. Filter is next level.

Disappointing
Received this vacuum about a week ago and the first time I used it was very disappointing. The machine roller continued to stop moving whilst vacuuming, which I did not understand why. I had to keep turning the on/off button on and off for it to vacuum and only then for a few seconds, then the roller stops moving. It Does not want to vacuum my rug which is a heavy one n...
