It’s light and easy to use and empty.
This is our second Dyson and it’s used for a Sit In Service that provides food for those less fortunate. We are a volunteer group and serve 60 people 2 nights a week. The Dyson is easy to use and does an amazing job of cleaning the dining room. All our volunteers are very impressed.

So far the machine has been great, with it's good battery time (25-40min), various accessories, charging stand, going from a DC23 corded to this allows to simply pickup and go. Just watch out for the motorised head, it can tend to create a great suction to certain carpets when the head's switch is in the closed state.

Very happy with the vacuum but find the battery drains quickly when using the fluff optic tool. The tool is excellent in finding animal hair.

Fantastic.
Wow this thing is amazing! This is my 3rd Dyson—I love them. The suction on this is very powerful and picks up the finest dust particles my last one didn’t seem to get. The house feels cleaner than ever before. Expensive but worth it.

I bought the Dyson gen5 a few weeks ago and I was disappointed at first with the colours I wasn’t provided with all copper and blue has is shown on the website. It is heavier than my V11 and the battery doesn’t seem to hold its charge. When I’ve fully charged it the next day it’s only got around 20 minutes left. the whole vacuum cleaner is very heavy, and the dust container is also difficult to open, too expensive

I love my new gen vacuum cleaner my goodness I can get the whole house done a.d still have power left for skirting boards and attachments are great for getting cornices cleaned. Easy to reach hard to get places. Also the filtration is amazing and easy to clean filter. Long lasting battery makes it easy to do everything before having to recharge

I purchased this to replace my excellent old worn
This is very similar to my my V15 detect. Is a little bit heavier and bigger, but my wife hated having to hold down the handle to continually run the V 15 detect. This is otherwise similar, but has the advantage of just single press button to turn on, and a press button to turn off.

This unit seems pretty good but it is much heavier in the hand than I expected. It does not work brilliantly along skirting boards and I was also surprised to find that it seems to only pick up dust, etc. on the forward motion and not when pulling back towards yourself

Great for picking up hair.
Using my new Gen5detect for the first time was very confronting. I had no idea just how much hair and dust was on my tiled floor. Thankfully, it was a lot less scary the second time - because the first clean had done such a good job. I am actually looking forward to vacuuming now. It feels space age.

Awesome Machine
We have a white Border Collie who drops fur everywhere!! This is the 3rd vacuum cleaner we’ve tried and absolutely love it. The self cleaning head is awesome compared to what we’ve tried before.
Our house is 320m2 and if we vacuum at least once a week the charge lasts the whole house.
As a side note we carry around a bucket like bin around to regularly empty the vacuum...

I’ve had 2 Dyson’s this is my first stick so What can I say about my new Dyson stick I should of brought it years ago it’s so much better with out a long cord and bulky , plus it’s great for my hands which I have arthritis in. Very happy 👍

Efficient time/energy saving
I found the Dyson vacuum cleaner….GEN5 detect has great versatility for the apartment (which has a mixture of hardwood and carpeted flooring). It reduces the cleaning and vacuuming time, is easier to manipulate and much more efficient than the previous vacuum cleaner which served me for 20 years

Awesome Dyson Stick cleaner, the best.
