Wunderbar
Loved this build, it's a striking model at a reasonable scale with interest at all angles.
Only thing is instead of building bag 7 I would skip ahead to bag 13 and finish the base to make it more stable and easier to move the main model

Questionable support choices
The problem with this build it inside is most everything in the base/hills is cantilevered and hollow, and many pieces are only supported or joined by single pegs, often skipping over the chance to make the slopes sit on all the pegs even. As you put the castle together, it is very hard to make the hills solid and squish them back together, causing everything to fall ap...

Not for the faint of heart
The castle is pieced together on four single rail bricks that balance on one link on each end. There is no support under the middle of the structure and it is virtually impossible to snap the individual builds into place without risk of total collapse. Definitely not a beginner build - needs to be a builder with lots of extra bricks on hand to stabilize the structure pr...

Not happy
This is the 2nd item I have received and pieces are missing. When I tried to get the missing piece they wound not send it because I have gone over the limit of requesting missing pieces.

Really Good Build
My wife and I really enjoyed building this. she did the left pages and I did the right. Having been to the actual Castle this was very accurate. Great detail. My only disappointment is with the pine trees. and there are a few steps in the book i felt like they were just trying to over 600 steps, because 3 steps on one page each had one piece. it was not that complex a s...

Just an okay build
I agree with a lot of the comments about stability or lack there of. It was a good idea but the structure is not sturdy like most of the builds I’ve done before. It has great detail on the castle but not the landscape and courtyard.

Good Satisfying Build
This is a good satisfying build. Yes, there are some tedious aspects (e.g. window set up in various portions of the castle and the plethora of 1x1 pieces) but it all comes together beautifully. No missing pieces either. Also this is the first set I have purchased that has used the more eco-friendly paper style bags so easy to recycle.

Great Build, Lovely Aesthetics!
I absolutely love this set. Great build and techniques compared to earlier Architecture builds. I've had a lot of fun building so far, but I have ran into a problem in bag 16. I am missing a 1x2 tan jumper, but have a 1x2 dark brown tile. I have already contacted part support, but it has put a damper on the build right now.
LEGO's support is awesome as always, so I wil...

Best Set in Recent Years
Amazing build with instructions that are easy to follow in a way that flows. The details included in this set are great, especially the option to switch out the foliage. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing this set.

Great compact-sized option with nice details
As someone who doesn't have a lot of room for displaying my sets, this Neuschwanstein Castle is small enough to comfortably display, yet detailed enough to give a good overall impression of this iconic Bavarian landmark. Employing some very clever building techniques and spacing out the sections kept the more repetitious parts (all those tiny windows and the trees!) fro...

Great castle
I think this was a really fun build. This castle has always been one of my favorite pieces of architecture in the world (I've been to Germany twice to see it) so I was very excited when the set came out. Instructions were clear and the build was enjoyable. Two minor critiques. 1) the empty courtyard. 2) the big spire has fallen apart twice on me so I don't believe the b...

Missing pieces
Starting in bag 15, missing small pieces in that and subsequent bags. No, they are not on my floor nor in the plastic bags. Very frustrating.

Neuschwanstein Castle Set
The set was fun to build and looked great once completed. Having been to the castle, it was fun that the throne room and grotto room details were included.

Excellent set
I have not been to the real castle, so can not judge too much how accurate it is, but the final model is very impressive. I agree about jumping from bag 6 to 13 to make the model stable before going onto the rest. I like the option to either have green trees or golden ones. Another great engineering success.

Neuschwanstein Castle
A lovely build, only isse was at the end. I wish it told you there were two tree options, if you follow the instructions you build the green trees then have a bag of autumn colours left

Great Family Build
We received this build yesterday and we were only going to build for an hour or so, well 6.5 hours later and it was completed. You are able to use the Lego Builder app to build this with up to four people. We had three of us working on it and we had a blast. This was a great family activity. Love the color contrast and overall it's just an awesome set.

Best build ever
This is probably the most organized, detailed build that I've ever done. Instructions were detailed easy to follow. All parts were there and separated into manageable bags.
