Missing one piece
1 star review as its missing 1 piece in bag 2 making it unbuildable im quite disappointed

Nostalgia for profit.
The nostalgia worked on me. I loved my Gameboy and this brought back all the feels. The internal details that no one but the builder will ever see are what made it amazing for me.

Looks AND Feels like the real thing!!!
I had no idea that this set was going to FEEL in the hands like a Game Boy! All the buttons, switches, and dials bring me back to my childhood--it's totally strange how smell and touch can bring back nostalgia more than just appearances.
But the set is more than just nostalgia; it is super fun to build! The engineering is INSANE with bricks being attached and oriented...

Wonderful set
Really hit all the right notes with nostalgia and creative building techniques. Great value for the price and also makes for an excellent play set. Built with my young kids telling them about when I played with a gameboy at their age which is a quintessential Lego sharing experience.

A lovely build, very worthy of it's inspiration
This was a very relaxing build, the finished Gameboy looks just like the original from decades ago. Love the unique way that tires were used to create the start and select buttons and am thankful that Lego used printed pieces with minimal decals for this build.

i loved this build, i had to rebuild the entire inside component to fix the two select and start buttons but overall it was good, i wish it had a screen to show it was off

My favorite build so far...
This was my first official Lego build and loved every second of it. Building the gameboy was fun at every click and seeing the GB come together was fantastic. I was very impressed with the final product. The look ,the feel , Lego nailed it with this one!

Perfect down to the last minute detail
I have never built a Lego set that was so perfect in replicating what it was trying to replicate until this set. Every detail makes me giddy with joy. Even the green on the interior to make a PCB board or the battery in the Zelda cart. It's all perfect. And for the price? Nice quick build
This is a good fun build, however my set was missing a critical piece very early on… so I now have to wait 9-12 business days before I can actually start it.
