Finally the solution.
We've had a Nighthawk wifi6 AX5400 for the last 5 years and helped with our coverage into our 1,200 ft condo with some cement walls. It was an improvement, but not great. Now that the NHawk is no longer supported, we decided it was time for a mesh system to see if it would help. Orbi WiFi great; ethernet is slower than it should be.
The Orbi 771 was very east to set up and get running. But the ethernet connection to my PC has turned out to be slower than what I had with my 10-year-old Netgear R8000. I have a case opened with Netgear, and they have offered several things to try. When experiencing an issue with slow speed while connected via ethernet we recommend a few troubleshooting steps including checking your ethernet cable is Cat 5e or Cat 6 at minimum and in good condition, check for any other cables to ensure they are securely connected and in good condition as well as ensuring both your RBE772 Router and Satellite are on the most recent firmware v10.5.20.10: https://kb.netgear.com/000070524/.

Only works with 770 Series routers. Period.
The website description implies that there is no cross-series functionality, but I had to do some digging to find the chart that explicitly says as much. I had to return the unit and purchase the correct one. It has been 2 weeks since Fedex picked up the unit but no word yet on any refund.

Orbi 7 vs Orbi 6
When I get back to house the network is not seen by my TV until I reset happens lot. Like it needs a constant connection. I never had any problems with Orbi 6. Plus my Sonos is another story unit self with Orbi 7 VS the Orbi 6.

Setting up ORBI 770
Use ChatGPT to help you set up the Orbi 770. It will walk you through everything you need to know and also help you adjust settings in your internet modem to maximize effectiveness of the Orbi. It will also show you how to check the settings in the Netgear web site. The Orbi is running great and I get max mps that I pay for from my internet service

Replacement units do not include speaker.
My former system was a two part router and speaker. When I got the notification that it was at th end of it's expected usefulness, I ordered the replacements that were recommended.

Weak signal
