Idiotic setup process
The process you have for setting up the router is idiotic. That is putting it nicely. There is no need for an APP. It should be optional. I had to reset my router because I put the app in the background and it reset the timer. Then it wouldnt load up where it left off. Had to restart so many times cause of errors. Really just a crappy product honestly. Now your email yo...

Purchase of new products
My nighthawk router had discontinued support. It was replaced as suggested. I am very happy with the device but it was a bit difficult setting it up. I’ve never had issues before so this was new. That is why I gave it 4 stars

Nighthawk
I just purchased a Netgear Nighthawk BE18000 router after my existing Deco router failed. It was very easy to set up and get going. I like their app. It will test your upload and download speed for you and it does a security check on each device that accesses your wifi network. It’s noticeably faster than my old router. I’m very pleased with this wifi router!!

Too easy
I replaced a 15 y/o router with this RS600. I was afraid all of my wireless devices would be lost. It was too easy. Installed the app, connected the router, recreated my wifi networks via the app, done. Literally less than 30 minutes. Immediate speed increase.

Nighthawk sucks
Cannon get my camera to connect to wife using Nighthawk app. Cameras require 2.4 connections. Nighthawk has a smart setting that determines the proper setting, 2.4 vs 5.0 but won't connect to my camera. Nighthawk app sucks

My previous 11 year old router was Nighthawk. Working great when I replaced it. The RS600 that replaced it has tripled my DL speeds on all computers downstairs. Easy and flawless installation. Simply incredible.

Exaggerated performance
Keep in mind the coverage is not for the square footage of say your home and each wall or door takes away the coverage area. Outstanding device!
This is the best router I’ve owned. I use it exclusively for my security system: 10 cameras, 3 motion detectors, 2 glass break detectors, and oh…7 WiFi smoke detectors. All connected seamlessly, even at a distance of 100 feet from the router. No drops, quick responses, and easy set up with a good app.
