Worst Garmin I own
Bought a factory refurbished unit. Very inconsistent and looses satellite coverage. Bought for an upcoming trip. Very disappointed. Garmin quality seems to have taken a hit.

Vehicle type
It would be nice if the vehicle type was moved to the settings so I wouldn't have to select it every time.

Best Garmin RV - Great new functions & ease of use
I bought it to replace my older Garmin RV 760. I also have a Garmin RV 890 that I use exclusively for my motor home. The new Garmin RV 795 has more function and ease of use that my Garmin RV890. I have been using Garmin GPS in my cars for over 20 years..

Reverse route
I’m very pleased with RV 754 compared to the 3 previous models I’ve owned. However if I has a reverse route feature, I have failed to find it.

Good asset!
Great help planning a safe route for a large RV. However, I am dissatisfied with the inability to plan a route other than one or two that are suggested. We try to avoid Interstate Highways most of the time just to enjoy scenery and local life. To do that, I have to use a map and plan my own route and enter it in the GPS town by town. Then, to avoid going to the town ...

Big easy to see screen.
I bought this new one to replace my old one that stopped working but now does again.
I have not used the new one yet, but sure I will really like it also.
I did update the maps on both of them and really love how easy it is.

"Directions Made Easy"
Our camping adventures, takes us into the "out-reaches of Nevada".
With this unit, even many "2-wheel rut roads" come up on the screen, go'n out across the desert.
Does a good job of keep'n ya posted, where yer at.

Gets me to where I'm going.
Have made several trips with it to known and unknown route. Got me there and back whether pulling camper or not using appropriate routes. I like it.

Sent it back
It kept wanting send us 30 miles out of the way for extremely minor construction that we drove right through. Luckily we had our Google maps set up also and breezed on through. Returned it as soon as we got back and ordered a regular Garmin that is working just fine.

Not as good compared
It is not easy to use period. I had it 3 weeks and trip planning function will not let me pick my route, wants to keep putting me on interstate. It need more options than turn by turn and straight route ( cross country). Too many warnings who needs animals crossing with RV gps. Needs more choices for type of road like small roads, only interstate, no interstate. Plain s...

Right Size & Great Features
I bought this GPS about 6 months ago. I have waited this long to do my review because I wanted to have the opportunity to take a few trips using it. Entering the size of our truck and trailer was easy. Getting it setup and entering our destination and waypoints was also easy. We are loving it up to this point. We get the most direct routes and haven't gotten lost yet. D...

Returned it
Returned it !
Will wait so that hopefully Garmin will build something that will be more user friendly and doesn’t look like a large CHEAP I phone !
This thing is so thin and cheaply made !
How about you make something STURDY for that amount of money for an RV !

First Garmin product I have NOT been happy with
I was forced to buy a replacement for my Garmin 770 RV model after it kept rebooting repeatedly. I loved all the features it had as it was and hoped the 795 would just be a newer model with satellite images. However, I lost "Voice Command" which allowed me to program the GPS while driving... I lost locating places "Along My Route", I lost the look ahead at the road as...

Excellent navigator & easy to use
Initial review after only a few months, the RV 795 is very fsat in processing infomration and easy to use as i navigate thru the menu items, i.e. where to go, saved places, creating shortcuts. This RV 795 replaced a well used 51 LMT that was extremely easy to use, and the RV 795 clearly outshines the 51 LMT. The larger screen can be seen by my passengers in the back s...

Not as intuitive as prior models
Is not nearly as easy to operate as prior model. Don’t like that a selection of “ map views” ie-satellite, driving etc isn’t available. Need to select vehicle every time instead of setting it once. Touch screen works intermittently. Display,(Elevation, time to destination etc) needs to be reset everytme unit is restarted..Display changes with bumpy road.

Needs a desktop client
The Garmin RV series is absolutely the best way to navigate in your RV. We have tried all of the other so called RV navigation devices and it is hands down the best. I deducted 1 star because it won’t let me do a half. The half a star would be for trip planning. You either have to plan on the device or with Garmin Basecamp. Basecamp is buggy, and not intuitive at all. G...
